Creating a hologram Iron Man table using our legs is pure genius! Huge kudos to this incredible project. Who knows, maybe you’ll spot our E7 in the next Marvel movie!

  2. Yellow Hammer Garage says:

As an engineer, the ease of workflow this could improve is astounding

    • MurkyWaters677 says:

Yeah, I could see this becoming a trend. They just showed the proof of concept and that it works. Now they either need to sell Bogdan’s software or make it open source.

    • Yair Kaz says:

Probably would be much more useful to just us a vr headset like the quest pro

    • TerrinX says:

I think it has it’s uses for sure, but honestly it seems pretty impractical to actually use for serious time crunched work. Not the hologram itself mind you, that’s fine enough but it’s the hand controls that make it a gadgetbahn in practice. Of course that’s not their fault, they have sponsors and investors and workers to pay, so of course they can’t go too in depth on the cons. Cons don’t feed people, pros do. Unless your a con-man (badm tsss) /j

In the end I don’t actually care how useful it actually is. I am a huge fan of making things especially impractical things, just because it’s cool, interesting, and or fun. I’m happy just to see the concept come to life in some way.

    • Yellow Hammer Garage says:

@TerrinX I 100% agree. At best it’s a proof of concept and at worst, it’s a cool party trick. I think it’s in the beginning stage of how the track ball mouse was. Or for that matter paper drafting drawings on boards compared to modern CAD.

I’m more excited to see the future of holographic tech integrated with AI or maybe even a form of telekinetic control. Still years away from either I’m sure but that could drastically lower time/improve designs

    • Mike Hall says:

as an engineer, a powerful laptop looks infinitely more useful to me.

  3. Chewy says:

Love how a “simple” desk that is anything but simple seems way more stressfull than any other project you guys have done 😂❤

  4. Dylan Gardner says:

The table is cool and all but the fact you dropped that linear rail and no ball bearings came out is the real impressive thing

  5. Isaac says:

if I had a nickel for every video about making a hologram desk today, I’d have 2 nickels- which isn’t a lot, but it’s odd it’s happened twice
AND THEY’RE SPONSORED BY THE SAME COMPANY-

  6. Glitchtheplanet says:

I love how accurate they are when it comes to their engineering but when wood working is involved it goes to “that’s in the middle of that stud right?”

This guy’s got such a refreshing energy for youtube I gotta see more of him

This desk is insane and deserves incredible props. I wish my desk and computer had half these features.

  9. Alex Pollock says:

I was literally thinking about holograms last night like Tony Starks desk, and was wondering if it had been invented yet or even possible. Crazy

  10. RifP says:

This team has the most brilliant minds all working together to make revolutionary inventions. Love it.
