Words can’t describe how satisfied I am that they’re releasing it on a Wednesday.

  2. Clarissa K says:

As someone who used to dress as Wednesday every halloween growing up, I literally cannot wait! Christina being involved is a genius move, so much nostalgia seeing her in this, she’s my idol!

  3. Julia Red says:

I love how Uncle Fester is the one person that can get Wednesday to truly smile.

The rendition of “Paint it Black” playing in the background is such a perfect use of the song. Props to whoever made it!

I looked it up because it has such strong Danny Elfman vibes. Turns out he’s part of the music department and the theme composer. Should’ve known… if Tim Burton is involved, he’s definitely gonna work with Danny Elfman!

Wow I’m so dumb, throughout the whole video I confused it with seven nation army 😂

I never understand why they don’t release these types of shows during October. It’s the perfect time. Also love the Christina Ricci cameo. 🧡

    • Aurora says:

@princessofeden growing up in the UK I didn’t see the film as thanks giving theme, maybe it obviously was, but as a child I must of not realised, I know they did the ‘Eat Me’ song in the play dressed as a turkey and she dresses as an American Indian. but I always associated Turkey’s with Christmas Dinner and thought she was at a summer american camp as it’s warm/sunny. I will have to rewatch the film 🙂

@Comic Crossing maybe that character will be in it more than Morticia.

Is not like they just can pick on a date, it’s quite more complex: advetising, revenue, ratings, seasonal competition, production schedule, etc.

    • Courtney Carollo says:

I know! I was like why would they not be releasing this before halloween! This is the time to release it! It looks like a great series.

    • Aaron Stone says:

@Z R and what month are they releasing it?

  7. Sode No Mai says:

I really hope this becomes a series’. There’s so many adventures and MISFORTUNES Wednesday can get herself involved in. I’m also really happy they went with the original look for Gomez. Because Luiz definitely fits his role perfectly. Honestly they all do. Jenna Ortega is going to be a star (well, an even bigger star). It’d be so interesting and epic if one day the world’s of The Addams Family crossed over with the Baudelaire’s Series of Misfortune Events.

I always felt like Wednesday was the most interesting one of the family so I’m happy she’s getting her own series

    • Nicamon says:

When I was a kid and I watched the cartoon my 2 favorite/more memorables were Morticia and Uncle Fester. Then I saw the movies and, from that moment,Wedensday topped anyone else FOREVER!🖤___🖤

  9. Scftuan says:

This looks so good and Jenna Ortega is literally perfect for this role. I will admit it is a little odd to see Wednesday in an environment where she isn’t the only ‘unusual’ one, but it looks exciting nonetheless.

  10. Rosie Pindar says:

At first I was unsure of this series, but the closer we get to the release the more excited I’m getting. It’s a shame we aren’t going to get a release around Halloween, but at least this means there’s more to look forward to in November.
