Just from his one line at the end, I can tell that Lance Reddick is gonna be an incredible Zeus. It’s a shame he passed before he could really make his mark on the character in future seasons

I really hope this show does well. There aren’t many long term series on Disney plus these days but this series looks to be promising.

If there’s one thing I hope the Series does, it’s introducing campers early.
Many of the campers who become important and even vital in later books are introduced too late, which gives us little time to get to know them better and become attached.

Excited for this! I’m glad they at least look the age in the books, hopefully their personalities follow suit but I’m not too worried since Rick worked with the crew on this one.

This’ll be a nice Christmas present… I hope. I’m hoping it isn’t a short series, like the typical 6-8 episodes and it can be a bit longer. There’s a lot you can do with this type of show. There’s a lot of lore, a lot of myths, a lot of legends, a lot of characters, that can be explored here. As the Rick has been so heavily involved with this and even helped to choose the cast, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a pretty decent and faithful adaptation. Just hoping the episodes are really short and they can be proper 50-60 minute episodes. And also released weekly.

      it’s 8 episodes

    • Sameen H says:

Its only book 1 so don’t worry it’ll be well planned out

    • Johnny T Zone says:

@Evan Park Just hope they all are long enough so enough can be explored before the finale and it isn’t all rushed at the end. I’m sure it’ll be fine and I do know it may not be fully complete by the end, but that’s when future seasons can kick in. But, for whatever story they want to tell for Part 1, I’m hoping it’s worth it.

    • Johnny T Zone says:

@Sameen H I know. I just hope the 8 episode format is utilised better than Star Wars or Marvel.

    • Lucy B says:

@Johnny T ZoneI was watching a video by MovieFlame a few months ago, and he split the book up into parts and predicted the run-time of each episode to be 40-50 minutes I believe (it has been a while since I watched it, so I’m not entirely sure on the details). But there are also adding extra non-book scenes to fleshed out the story and for extra character development, so with that in mind, that could easily reach up to about 50-60 minutes per episode.
