    Although I know this is just supposed to be for the laughs and whatnot but FYI for people watching the video, the more the helmet gets crushed, the safer it probably is.
    It’s actually because the helmet absorbs the chock rather than your skull.
    The same logic applies to cars these days where they are very easy to get completely crushed in an accident whereas back in the day the frames of cars were much more solid but were also less safe.
    Ride safe!

      That works in cars because the internal cage where the passengers are located stays intact while the outside absorbs the impact. That clearly isn’t the case here.
