Were these cooked all the same way or by the instructions of the chef? Because Alton Brown does preventative measures to keep the breast moist, like the tin teepee

*”Like come on guys, the bird deserves some salt”*

  11. joeykong94 says:

If you didn’t cook Alton’s correctly it will dry you are supposed to cook at 500 for 30 in then slap on the turkey triangle and then cook at 350 until the prob reaches 161

Also the brine is supposed to chill to room temperature then chill in the fridge until it is chilled then add the ice and water

I used his recipe last year and it was the best turkey iv ever had doing it this year
    And making his gravy also

    • Madman6884 says:

I don’t do the brine, but I do use Alton’s cooking technique. Always crisp skin, always moist, and cooks way faster than every recipe that just uses the lower end temp only.

    • Ruthie says:

Agreed! Made it today and it was delicious!

    • amberfire430 says:

It is the only that I use as well. The best and I just made it for tomorrow

    • Very Doge says:

This is why I take tasty seriously with a grain of salt. While they push so many videos out they really have a shaky ground in quality control. At this point you can tell how good things will turn out by who makes it.

  12. it’s marri says:

Turkey is so damn dry I can’t eat it.Thats why tomorrow at home we eat Cornish hens and ham instead.

  13. Rin Wesley says:

I made the Alton Brown turkey one year and it was a clear favorite among my guests. Don’t know why yours came out dry. My turkey was super juicy.

  14. Sophia Bertwell says:

Who else wishes Gordon Ramsey was in this? 😂

  15. Layla Amador says:

I dont care who makes it turkey is always dry

  16. Johana Resendiz says:

Am I the only one who gets Post Malone vibes from the dude in the white shirt?

  17. Seyla_11B says:

I don’t think you followed Brown’s recipe to the T. It involves making an aluminum shield for the turkey so the white meat isn’t dried out during the cooking process.

  18. Bee says:

I think Ayeshas was so good because she puts stuff in the roasting pan. You’re steaming the turkey essentially. Great idea. And Guy’s had some really really cool concepts too. Like stuffing under the skin 💁🏼‍♀️
But wtf was Martha Stewart’s turkey? That’s the whitest way to make a turkey ever. “Just salt and pepper it and stick it in the dang oven there” FML

  19. Obviously Hamiltrash says:

You can tell these “judges” don’t know what they were talking about.

  20. Lovely Lilax says:

The girl was the long hair was so dull and bland. She probably eats brown rice and a boiled chicken breast for dinner
