The comments are going to get…”interesting” on this one. Hope you’re having a great Tuesday and enjoying the PDS being back 🙂

  2. PaperMario N64 says:

I agree with Tomi’s most recent stance, but unfortunately that hasn’t always been her stance. She’s a hypocrite.

I don’t care if you disagree with me on issues, but if you’re changing views for clicks, you are pretty pathetic.

  3. MiMiC says:

How the fuck do people see a bunch of unspecialised cells as a living breathing infant? And how the fuck is the removal of said cells the same as killing a human being? I know it may not be that simple as philosophers have debated for a long time but it is still the woman’s choice, it’s their body after all and it is not the governments place to decide whether a woman wants to have a child or not.

  4. jackbauer6543 says:

Actually, I don’t think her view is hypocritical at all. She’s personally against abortion, but thinks the government should stay out of it.

  5. The SpotLight says:

I’ll never understand conservatives. Hell yeah to a mechanism that is meant to kill and only kill to be able to be transferred at any time so a murderer is able to get their hands on it. Yet, they’re against killing something that literally is not a born living being. Logic is so skewed.

  6. Buffalo Bill says:

I believe life starts at the ejaculation. if you masturbate, you’re mass murdering babies.

  7. Matthew D says:

My Question to “Pro Life” conservatives is Why is it okay to cut off the tip of an infant boy’s penis without his consent?

  8. David Aponte says:

I see where Tomi is coming from, the government should NOT have a right to control a women’s body. Now if you were to ask her the same question minus government involvement, I believe Tomi would side Pro -life because of her strong Christan background

  9. Lee Brooke-Pearce says:

You Americans really need to sort your shit out. Every developed country in the world recognises a right for women to control abortion decisions

  10. Moist Snail Poop says:

I dont have an opinion on abortion, but I’m definitely for baby killing.

  11. Ally Williams says:

Is she wasn’t a skinny, attractive, blonde young, nobody would listen to her. She’s full of shit and if she was 500 lbs. heavier, nobody will listen to her. Trust me, I grew up in a rural town in Kansas, all republicans. 70% of her supporters are middle aged men. She doesn’t know what she’s talking about political wise, but she knows what to say to get a certain demographic to support her. She doesn’t stand up for her beliefs, she just says what people want to hear.

  12. Girl Wonder says:

She said nothing wrong. I’m also a pro choice conservative. Being a REAL constitutionalist means giving people rights to their own bodies. “religious right” has nothing to do with being a conservative. Conservativism is about the least possible amount of government interference. That’s why I’m also pro gay marriage, in fact, I believe the government should get out of marriage all together. The religious right in the USA has ruined conservatism by trying to make everything about Jesus. There’s a whole bunch of us Republicans that are not Jesus freaks. Bible thumping is not conservatism.

  13. palacsintakat says:

I don’t understand why people have to be forced to keep the same views throughout their life. Tomi is a young woman….. she SHOULD grow and evolve and change her views. I can’t take anything she says seriously because she has a history of saying ridiculous things just to create controversy, but I don’t think she should be suspended for saying something (something that is actually a republican view based on constitution and not religion which gives her an angle of relatability to a lot of people previously completely disconnected from her) on a different show and a different network….

Also, all this talk about “the end in sight” and the journey and bigger things is making me nervous ;-; and the nostalgic picture reminiscing…. stahp. JK please do become your own news network. Shake that industry up Phil!

  14. Audra Verela says:

My dad is a Republican. He was born in 1953. All of his life, however, he has always believed in women’s rights, especially when it comes to abortion. It isn’t his body and he says that if a woman wants to, she should have the right to a safe and legal abortion. As far as Republicans go, he’s pretty lax. Personally I’m somewhere in the middle as far as politics go. We might have different views but he really is a kind soul, and I think if people could stop the anger and bitterness and actually *talk like rational adults,* we might accomplish something great.

  15. camptastico says:

Okay, so if it’s the choice of the baby and not the woman, then why the fuck am I alive? Shitttt if it was my choice I would’ve hit the eject button so fast.

  16. Dale Stager says:

I have a mixed view on abortions. I love killing babies, but I don’t like giving women choices.

  17. Aaron Costello says:

I’ve watched Philly D (you might know him as sxephil) grow from an angsty young man into a fine professional for nearly 8 years. We have not always met eye to eye on every topic of discussion, but we could probably agree to disagree or meet on some middle ground.
I say, and I’m sure many other like-minded people also say, that they will follow you to the end of the road. We’ll also probably try and pave you a new proverbial road to continue your career. Keep doing you, you beautiful bastard.

  18. STEROHO says:

Women have a constitutional right to abortion, just saying. It’s amazing to me that people don’t know this. Tomi is a hypocrite who doesn’t believe in anything, but a fetus is not a person

  19. KatKost says:

I’m conservative, but I am pro-choice. Not sure why it’s such a shocking duo??

  20. Jayne A says:

“I don’t like her. I don’t agree with her about issues that are important to me. Therefore she’s a hypocrite.” This is how lazy people are getting at actually arguing for their political positions now.

Where is the contradiction in saying “I believe that abortion is morally wrong, but I also believe that it is legally not something that the government should be able to ban,” the latter principle being actually non-partisan (if anyone remembers classical liberalism)?

And where the hell is the logic in saying “I hate this woman because she’s just like all those republicans, oh look all those republicans hate her because she’s not just like them, I gloat over this because I hate her”?

People should be appreciating attempts to find common ground, even where personal values and beliefs differ. I swear to god people are letting themselves be divided over the stupidest shit, it’s like the smaller a disagreement is, the more people have to blow it out of proportion and lose their shit just to make sure they’re still distancing themselves from the “enemy.”

People need to grow up if they want to talk politics and be taken seriously.
