Without Remorse – Official Trailer | Prime Video

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, or simply Without Remorse, is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Stefano Sollima and written by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples. It is based on the 1993 novel of the same name by Tom Clancy and a spin-off of the Jack Ryan film series.

The film tells the origin story of John Kelly (aka John Clark), a U.S. Navy SEAL, who uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife by Russian soldiers. When Kelly joins forces with fellow SEAL Karen Greer and shadowy CIA agent Robert Ritter, the mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war.

Oh boy, definitely does not look like a Streaming movie. How many would have paid to see this in theaters in normal circumstances ?

    • Gentleman Murk says:

@Hans Michael Fanunal black batwoman failed

    • Hans Michael Fanunal says:

@Gentleman Murk Batwoman was a failing show to begin with. Also they technically didn’t racebend the character because it was a new character

    • nasser farat says:

@Gentleman Murk His race isn’t important to the character so why should it matter to you lol

    • BlameItOnVanity says:

@nasser farat neither is their sexuality but yet it was a big deal for the show👀👀👀

    • RoninjoeChronicles says:

I would have risked it. The pandemic took everything from me. This summer the C.I.A cinephile strikes back for one last ride!!!! #WithoutCinema

  2. Suman Behera says:

So this is what Killmonger is doing nowadays 🤔🤔.

    Quite impressive

  3. Josh WinterFresh says:

    Tom Clancy’s: John Wick

  4. kingz prodigy says:

Definitely a punisher type who relentless in won’t stop until the mission complete.

  5. a a says:

the best part of no remorse is that John Clark/Kelly cleaned up the streets in his neighborhood. I cant wait till the screenwriter/director/producer gives us their version of Shel Silverstiens The Missing Piece where an autistic boy drops his puzzle piece out the window and has a harrowing time descending the fire escape to retrieve it.

    • Robert Meza says:

@a a the difference is a history of minstrel shows, as well as the fact that the basis of the characters identity has nothing to do with his race. Whereas GWC was a man defined not only by his genius, but by his experiences as a black man. The other characters you named are fictional, yet their race and experiences are the cornerstone of their identity. It’s a complex issue.

    • Gentleman Murk says:

@Robert Meza is batwoman being white important to her identity?

    • a a says:

@Robert Meza but it is ok to not accept these swaps right? people have freedom of choice or do they have to accept and like something because reasons?

    • Robert Meza says:

@a a watch whatever the hell you want. But let’s not pretend the comparisons are the same.

    • Robert Meza says:

@a a and to expound a bit, no matter what anyone tells themselves, if the reason they are not watching or liking any movie is because of the race of the actor/character, then they are in fact racist. People have the right to ignorance.

  6. TheWorld says:

Meh. It looks cool but is Without Remorse in name only. Looks more like another John-wick style action flick than the original book.

    • Nicko - says:

@Cartel Sino true but i wish it wasnt set now, it made sense that it was in the 70s because of what the character does in his sixties, but with it set now idk how it will work

    • TheWorld says:

@Cartel Sino It’s not just about the title. It’s based off a book for a reason. A rather great book. If you want to make an action flick, do so. Just don’t associate a great book with it.

    • Johnathon Hall says:

@Cartel Sino forget jackholes like you who condone hollywood taking things that mean something to people and turning them in to cash grabs

    • Ben says:

The last Clancy adaptation that made any attempt to be faithful to source material was Clear and Present Danger, and that was over 25 years ago. Even then there were significant deviations with Ritter

  7. Shui Gor says:

Can we expect a future crossover with John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan? After all, John Kelly is really John Clark and both characters are instrumental down the line in the Tom Clancy narrative.

  8. SID says:

“They took everything from me” must be the most famous phrase in revenge type movies

  9. Raymond Jones says:

0:19 splinter cell sound effect from the night vision goggles to (Tom Clancy Splinter Cell games)

  10. Paul Topham says:

Looks OK, pity they didn’t go with the original setting ‘ story-line.

    • Jared Waters says:

I agree. Clark hunting down drug dealers disguised as a bum and sniping fools with a .22 was awesome.

    • I am The one says:

This one will be better if they don’t rush it

    • GamerSixgun says:

They might be setting this up as a franchise. Maybe we’ll see that stuff in flashback

    • Breeze says:

Yeah I was like this isn’t without remorse. I remember him going after pushers, taking them out 1 by 1. I also remember it being set in the 1970s. But it’s been awhile since I read the book.

    • Matt Duncan says:

@I am The one Uh…no, it will suck harder than a homosexual pornstar and this trailer is proof enough.

“They took everything from me” must be the most famous phrase in revenge type movies

  12. I have The high ground says:

Anakin: He’s too dangerous to be kept alive!

  13. Avex YT says:

“You would be suprised to see what a man can do when you take away everything from him.”

  14. BadGlitch says:

This looks awesome! But I totally laughed out loud at the “You better hope he doesn’t survive…” line.

  15. Gran Santo says:

Government kills his family, so he kills soldiers with families

  16. Amraider says:

0:43 “You took everything from me”
Thanos: I don’t even know who you are

  17. emcee009 says:

“He is more dangerous… and effective… than ANY man we have on the field.”

I know that line was supposed to be impactful, but… that wooden delivery.

  18. Aaron Sanderson says:

I get the need to update the story; however, a lot of these changes seem unnecessary.

  19. Isaac Ellsworth says:

“I wrote the book they ignored.” – Tom Clancy, Sum Of All Fears commentary. They ignored him again. I was really looking forward to Michael B Jordan as John Clark too.

  20. boilers522 says:

Did the movie producers actually read the book or just look at the title on the cover?
