Also there is no way she could have gotten on once it started to rise, she was over half way on the bridge when witnesses said the bridge started to rise. You are the winner for the Darwin Award for assuming and acting like you know something that does not correspond with the witnesses. Fool.
No, this woman was STUPID. She ignored all the warnings and went onto the bridge with all the bells clanging and arms down. Darwin Award Winner!

As soon as she felt that bridge going up she should have been sprinting downhill but instead I bet she just stayed their in fear until it completely rose 2 the top.

It sounds as if there was more than one person on the bridge. He couldn’t save her. He is still a hero. I work in heights and 50 or 60 feet is a lot farther than a lot of people think until you get up there. It had to be terrifying for both of them

Crazy story made short, but my uncle’s dog once jumped 50 feet down into a dam, and somehow survived with no apparent injuries and no distress either.

Wow! This is heartbreaking. I hope they will be able to reach her friends and family. My heart also goes out to the bystander who tried to help her. I can only imagine the emotions that man is going through. I hope he doesn’t blame himself for what happened.
