I love the fact that A24 keep making new and unique original movies. They may be weird movies but it’s the type of weird movies i’d like to see cuz it’s different and looks very good and I love weird movies like this
Looks like a Texas Chainsaw reboot, take out Leatherface, add an old couple, Kid Cudi, and boobies, you got this flick.
“Horror movies are just a shot for shot remake of other horror movies” 🤦♂️ just say it’s not your favorite genre.
And at least in my theater when I saw hereditary there was an almost collective groan after the final scene. Mainstream movie goers expect paranormal activity/conjuring type scares.

typically anything from A24 is a safe bet. If you haven’t seen ‘Lamb’ yet, you’re sleeping on one of the most original folk horror films in recent years. As for Ti West, ‘house of the devil’ is an instant classic. can’t wait to see this one.
I think A24 is a good fit for Ti West. I think part of A24’s success might even be traced back to Ti West’s THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL. The reliance on suspense, the slowburn, the harking back to traditional horror mixed with fresh nuances… It’s very much Ti West’s trademark in horror and people/studios followed suit — and A24 is very successful with that “slow and weird” trademark.
Can’t wait to see X as I think Ti West is such a strong but unfortunately underrated director. And I’m happy to see Mia Goth in this as well.

They rarely disappoint, they take out at least 1 jewel per year and this seems to be innovative

This looks fucking great. A24 definitely pushes the envelope with their films. Looks fun and genuinely terrifying. One of my most anticipated films now.
There’s something about A24. It’s that feeling which is indescribable yet one is in awe of it.
this movie looks like it is going to be wild asf and very much scary at the same time almost like midsommar. i am so ready for this!! a24 is definitely my favorite entertainment company. all their movies are so good!!
