The fact that Jonah Hill wrote this while also starring in it is just perfect. I think he and Eddie Murphy will rake in a lot of laughs😂

Genius by putting Eddie Murphy in this film. He knows how to make fun of different stereotypes while making people laugh so hard. Can’t wait to see it! Them two together is going to be hilarious 😂

It’s the duo that we never imagined, but after seeing this, it’s the duo that we needed.

Never though I would see these two in a movie together

This is something we never could have expected, even in our wildest dreams, but it’s definitely going to be so worth it

Love how Eddie Murphy plays this scene, he isn’t over the top, he’s a serious uncomfortable dad and he did it so well. Looking forward to this, hopefully it isn’t a stupid typical outrageous rom com but more grounded.

I’m looking forward to Eddie and his wife in the car afterwards when Eddie will let loose his true feelings!

This! It does seem like it will be. Jonah Hill was also pretty grounded and realistic for a floundering/scared fiancé in a comedy.

I love it when new interesting movies come out and I DON’T have to leave my bed to go see them. Thanks, Netflix for doing this before anyone else and before the pandemic!

  8. DemiSavage77 says:

How does Eddie Murphy never age ! This one will be good 😂

I can sort of relate. It’s clearly exaggerated, but it can be difficult to connect with the parents. Especially if they come from a background entirely different than yours. But, that’s what makes love beautiful. It helps us create bridges, but train is ach other how to feel. I have a feeling that this is where this is going.

My girlfriend’s parents are Indian and Muslim, and they refuse to accept her even dating a white boy. Hopefully this movie eases my stress about this conversation lol

The fact that Eddie hasn’t done a movie in a while and decided to do this one – speaks volumes!! Never mind that Kanya Barris and Jonah Hill wrote it that’s just icing on the cake.
