I was lost, mad and rebellious for a very long time as a result. But not anymore! Today I’m grateful to God that he spared and healed my life entirely. My scars humbled, educated and forged me to be stronger and street wise. We walk a higher path, my brave young heart. @Spartacus Maximus Well I thank you for sharing. I can definitely relate. I was 14 when I started running around with drug dealers, gangs, addicts etc and I became all of them myself. I was smoking crack and shooting heroin by 15. You reminded me of a time I was left for dead….. I was in a crack house with seven crew members to pick something up and as I was waiting I hear the locks click on the front door and ” get her shit” . Mind you then even now I’m only 5′ 115 pds and the the dudes are all in their 20’s big af compared to me. They robbed me for two bands my leather and my jewelry. Wouldn’t let me leave. They made me drink a cup of liquor with something in it( I didn’t know at the time) and all I remember is one of them between my legs. I woke up the next morning no idea where I was. Turns out I was in Boston where I was forced to prostitute. By the grace of God I finally got questioned by the cops at 2 in the am. I came up as MIA so they took me in. You know what’s even crazier?? One of the cops knew the pimp and was gonna release me to him but my mother showed up before it could happen. And that’s just one story smh.
edit: and just remember that God was your guide but if it wasn’t for you listening and wanting to change it wouldn’t have happened. Always give yourself the credit you deserve. It takes a he’ll of a strength to get where we are from where we came ❤
