    The meteorite that hit the car was *not* astronomically correct. Or not
    physically, at least. If it were that size, it wouldn’t have landed on the
    hood, but vaporized the car into a huge crater. Or if it landed “on” the
    hood, it would have been much smaller, and still hit right through the
    engine and everything, so there would not be much left from the engine part
    of the car either.
