Binging with Babish: White Castle Order from Harold & Kumar

Binging with Babish: White Castle Order from Harold & Kumar

Preorder the official Binging with Babish Cookbook today!

This week, the challenge lies in both the volume of food and the method by which it’s prepared – 30 sliders whipped up at once, onion-steamed the way White Castle does it. Can I wolf down the entire hyper-stoned order placed by our titular heroes? Of course not, I’m no Matt Stonie, but I’ve got some hungry friends.

This movie is like a time capsule – remember what it was like back in 2004, when it was this hard to get your hands on…

In Michigan, White Castle has never been difficult to find. Regarding sliders, you’d be hard pressed to find a restaurant that doesn’t make them.

I work at White Castle here are some secrets:

The onion are “rehydrated” with water (no oil is used to cook the meat) and the meat is seasoned with pepper and salt.

    • Jay says:

@T-Savs wait wait wait wait…stuffing made from sliders?!?!?

    • Lancine Keita says:

@T-Savs I’m gonna need you to explain that stuffing bit please.

    • T-Savs says:

@Lancine Keita yea ive just sliders celery, Turkey stock and maybe a couple other things I don’t quite recall, but you just make it out of sliders… I haven’t had it myself though.

    • T-Savs says:

@Lancine Keita google slider stuffing, it’s a pretty common thing in the midwest

    • fabricated says:

I was about ready to say I thought there was pepper/salt involved with the meat because the one thing about White Castle’s sliders is that the meat definitely has a pepper taste to it.
