What’s the 44 Club you may ask? Well it all started in the outro of this video where we wondered if anyone was still watching the video at that point, and to comment 44 (Scott’s fave number) if they were. Brett then said 44 Club get on board and the rest is history. The 44Club is the official How Ridiculous fan club made up of people who love our videos and watch them right to the very end. We’ve even got 44 Club merch now! So yeh, that’s the story. Pretty random but good fun at the same time.

We are passionate about seeing children released from poverty and we would love you to consider sponsoring a child with Compassion. We visited our sponsor children in the Philippines and were blown away by the difference that child sponsorship can make. To find out more about sponsoring a child right now, check out:

A big thanks to the awesome crew at the Gravity Discovery Centre in Gingin for letting us use their 45m leaning tower for our own experiments. If you wanna head out there and check it out, it’s not far from Perth. Western Australia:

The top layer is a flexible yet exstremaly strong resen

That moment when you realize you’ve waited 6 weeks to test bulletproof glass, only to get the top/bottom layer wrong before you drop the ball… Are we gonna see a video where you actually test the bulletproof glass correctly? I guess we’ll know in about 6 weeks😂😁

    • How Ridiculous says:

Hahaha how good! Would it affect the strength much? Guess we’ll find out with the Giant Dart 😂

    • RC Tommy says:

How Ridiculous, probably not, but it would protect the (potential) person on the other side of the glass from super fast flying glass shrapnel 😁😎

    • Kevin Albinsson says:

Sorry I love marking words, So the so called flexible layer is made of the so called Plexiglass for the simple purpose off which the others explained, Plexiglass doesn’t shatter, it can crack IF bend excessively.

+How Ridiculous things that are bullet proof, tend to not do the best against larger pointed projectiles like arrows or massive darts. If you calculated it out, you would much rather your body recive the newtons of any hand gun caliber over that of you 20 pound dart falling from 45 m

Bowling ball vs iPhone Xs Max glass (preferably 512 GB gold version) 😂

  7. ellisd82 says:

Glass upside down but also have Newtons cradle effect of the force travelling through the first object and leaving the last. #Commtest 44kg weight

  8. LukaRockStar says:

The reason why it didn’t break at the top was because it had rubber on top

  9. Harold West says:

It will still break if it was a coffee table in my house with 3 kids

  10. J-Vahalla-B says:

I wish my will to live was that strong….

  11. RainbowFishSaysHello says:

I think the glass weighs 1.25 Stanfords

  12. Kristian K H hunter says:

The top layer isn’t glass, it’s plastic. It’s also not supposed to be the top layer, but the bottom layer.

  13. Illumination X says:

4:07 I thought they were going to throw the bowling ball on top of you

  14. Angus Anderson says:

That layer that dint crack will be some sort of plastic, hence why it didn’t crack

  15. Naomi Moore says:

Please name the bullet proof glass something. I’m thinkin’ Georgie!

  16. Ruben Braekman says:

The polycarbonate layer is supposed to be on the inside, in this case on the bottom and not the top. The glass layers have polyvinylbuthyral films between them, thats why they stay strong as hell even after cracking.
    There, now you know.

  17. Benjamin H says:

    Thray… toee… won.. goaa!

  18. Madison Piar says:

The reason I think the top didn’t want to break is kinda like a netons cradle. the energy traveled through the layers but when it came to the Bottom layer there was nowhere for the energy to go causeing the bottom layer to break.

There the freshman in highschool’s theroy
