  7. smol bean says:

I haven’t seen it in the comments yet so I thought I might bring it up – I felt like there were a lot of political references as well, like hinting towards global warming (“it’s only getting hotter”), how older generations hurled younger generations into a world that won’t stop growing and that’s slowly taking its toll on the planet, yet the younger ones are told to slow down, and how, overall, the exceptional heat of this very summer showcases how much damage we’ve already done to the earth we live on and how it’s all going to be downhill from here. I understand that the main message of the video and song lie on hip&hop and r&b culture, but I figured this would be a relevant thought to bring up.

  8. Geo 5432 says:

see idk if i’m describing it right but you see that there are just mumbles rappers who are still kids(trippe and lil pump)there are people tryna learn the game(i think the ball family) there are people who have influenced us(X) there are people who have changed us(whitney micheal etc)there are people who are just chillin throwing shade(i forgot her name but it starts with an A) there are people that are starting beef(bird man)there are people that are trying to do the same song and dance(snoop and didde )there are people trying to catch up(Drake )there are people that are getting pissed with people tryna destroy their legacy(Nikki vs Travis) and then there are people who made this all possible and are soon being forgotten or society is taking them out(chris brown, outkast, will etc)… and when you think about it it’s just all true if you look at it… it’s all just true and i know i didn’t say everything right… but this new Gambino he’s tryna to show us it first hand
