So many questions I want answers to! Why did Zelda kill Hilda? Does Salem talk? Why did Sabrina kill a bat? Is Zelda evil? Is Hilda evil? Will I have to watch Riverdale to understand certain moments of this series which I don’t really want to? Will Sabrina become evil? Is there a chance Melissa Joan Hart might make a special appearance?

    • Nicholas Waltrip says:

Zelda isnt evil. in the comics shes just very serious and devout and has more of a dark side than Hilda. Hilda tends to be the more motherly one, whereas Zelda is much more stern. They are both nearly immortal so i think killing her is more of just like a cat fight to humans. Salem talks in the series according to rumors. Because this series was bought away from the CW, there is little chance of characters from riverdale appearing in this show. They would need special permission from the network which isnt likely. Sabrina isnt good or entirely evil in the comics. she just….is. she does dark stuff when necessary. i think its less about her being good or evil and more about her giving up her power. Melissa Joan Hart has not been asked to appear in the show at all as of a month ago.

    • Bubby707 says:

In some countries (Im pretty sure everywhere outside the US) Riverdale doesn’t actually air on the CW it airs on netflix each week instead of on an actual channel, so it might not be that big of a thing to have a crossover, although Im sure it will just be subtle mentions of riverdale and minor things, at least for the first season.

    • Kai Bishop says:

Bubby707 it airs on tv in Canada the same night but goes on Netflix at midnight so most people watch the next morning. It’s a CW show and as far as I know they do air on tv, the Vampire Diaries always aired on tv here. Netflix is just more popular.

    • Padoodle Foodle says:

Read the comics it’s based on. The gist of it would be: all witches are evil cannibalistic satanists and sabrina has to choose between being the strongest witch ever or be a human and lose her powers

    • o o f says:

Zelda killed her because 1 they sold their soul so they are kind of immoral and 2 she got on her nervous. Salem might talk bc in the comics he did but the actress play Sabrina is sadly allergic to him. The Zelda is jsut very strict and straight forward and Hilda is a bit more fun but they do eat corpses to survive. Also most of the other witches are evil and like work with the devil. You don’t need to watch Riverdale because for 1 they aren’t doing a crossover yet and 2 Sabrina is in the 60s. And Sabrina isn’t evil at heart but she is a witch so she will do what she had to when it comes to her family and friends also I hope a cameo

I’ve read the comics of this and I’m so ready for this

    • Zachary Alexander says:

ItsAdryann your comment makes no sense, the original is the comics. And they weren’t dark I would know because I grew up on them. If you think that they’re dark you’ve never read a single Archie or Betty and Veronica or Sabrina the teenage witch comic

    • romeostruedude says:

Zachary Alexander Dude you sound absolutely stupid and uneducated. This based on the comics of the same name. Not the original and not the tv show. It’s amazing. But it would be HORRIBLE if they didn’t make it dark and Spooky like the comic it IS adapting from. Otherwise it would be a terrible adaptation.

    • Zachary Alexander says:

romeostruedude oh I sound so stupid. I had no idea what they were talking about. Ohhhh there’s a comic called Sabrina’s chilling adventures. I had no idea.
Ive never heard of it before

    • Patrick Lyons says:

+Zachary Alexander Archie Comics has a horror division now. They also do Afterlife with Archie, which is basically Archie meets the Walking Dead.

    • Someone Important says:

Didnt kbow there was a comic ill check it out

  3. Omari Coop says:

She looks a lot like Emma Watson.

I’m scared and excited at the same time wowwww

  5. Sharp Design says:

Oh my gosh, (formerly) Missy is the villain?

  6. theworldofmilton says:

Few horror references, a dark twist on Sabrina, Ross Fine Ass Lynch , Releasing Near Halloween, and On Netflix. I’m down

  7. toprak devrim says:

If you think sabrina is Better than riverdale like

  8. the homie jermel says:

Hope Melissa Joan Hart make a Cameo. It really looks good and dark

  9. Mona Lisa says:

Y’all do realize that the guy behind riverdale, who created this show, is the one who created the Chilling adventures of Sabrina horror comics (on which this show is based)? Right? So y’all can chill, i doubt that he’ll ruin a tv adaptation of his own creation

    • Mona Lisa says:

i kinda hate that everyone’s like “this is not my Sabrina” and “i don’t want this reboot” and when you tell them about the comics it’s based on they just ignore and pretend like you said nothing

    • Rubiecat says:

two words for you: stephen king.

    • Mona Lisa says:

Yeah, Stephen King has nothing to do with this.

    • Rakim Escobar says:

I need to quit putting mustard on my pop tarts

    • Rubiecat says:

He does actually, he famously tried to adapt his own story onto the big screen and made it absolutely horrible. So just because the original creator is involved doesn’t mean it will be good. (though to be fair this trailer looks pretty good in my opinion)

  10. Count Sapphire says:

I’d be very happy if Salem sang this song during Sabrina’s birthday party.

  11. Sahil Jhanginia says:

    Riverdale is shook.

  12. rosyroserainbow says:

*Please don’t make this bad please don’t make this bad please don’t make this bad*

    • JoeEnigma says:

I don’t like Riverdale but I was looking forward to this show before I saw the trailer, now I have doubts, but I’m going to give it a chance it might surprise me.

  13. J M says:

The best part about Netflix is.. If this show is good (which is highly unlikely), it will make noise on social media. Or else, it will just be buried under other 100’s of other Netflix originals that no one watches

    • Ryan Dabian says:

Actually, it doesn’t even have to be good to be popular. It just has to be…popular. Riverdale isn’t good, yet it has a strong following on social media, a very young and vocal fan base, etc. And that is precisely what Netflix is counting on (hence the guaranteed second season for CAOS). Though of course Netflix doesn’t want a “Riverdale with magic” show, but something that can tap into the Archie universe.

Oh and if I may ask: why do you think it won’t be good?

    • Kai Bishop says:

Netflix has a pretty good track record for genre shows as far as I’m concerned. If Sense8 or Altered Carbon are any indication, it will be amazing. And their shows that aren’t that great still often get big social media followings, plus this is already capitalizing on the Riverdale fandom who are intensely loyal and basically a hype machine. But Sabrina is already filming its second season right now so even if it bombs we get season 2 lol.

    • Savage _Tv says:

Netflix originals have a higher audience than most cable t.v. tho, Stranger Things, OITNB, Daredevil, etc.

  14. Smart Aleck Comedy says:

This gives new meaning to the term “Netflix and chill.”

  15. Can I have 500 Subs says:

Excuse me. Where’s my sarcastic talking black cat that wears cute costumes

  16. Ryan Dabian says:

I really think that going with a more fun and upbeat direction was a great idea. If it had gone in the same way as the first teaser people would say that the show is too drab and dreary. But now they showcased a lot of campy and dark humor as well giving the characters a nice introduction. Love it! October 26 can’t come soon enough.

  17. Jimin Park says:

To everyone saying that this is a reboot; lol it’s not a reboot. This isn’t based on the 90s sitcom people, this is based on the comic books of an alternate version of Sabrina called “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” hence, the name of the show. If you don’t believe me, look it up for yourselves, before judging something, do proper research.

  18. Mona Lisa says:

Repeat after me: Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina is not a reboot of the 90s sitcom. It will not “ruin the old show”. It’s an adaption of a horror comic book series (read it!! it’s amazing!!), and it’s going to snatch your wigs!!

    Have a nice day 💕

  19. Alex Ramirez says:

Yesss i thought it was going to take its self too seriously with the beautiful cinematography and dark nature and it’ll end up boring but it looks so whimsical. It looks like a perfect mix.

  20. Evie says:

I like the contrast between the cheerful song and the darkness in the trailer
