Comedians have figured out the trick to covering Trump
While major news networks have struggled to figure out the right way to cover the Trump administration, political satirists like Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers have demonstrated why comedy can be such a powerful antidote to bullshit.

(((Comedians)))
DISLIKED EARTH IS FLATTTT

Looking forward to trump supporters telling vox to stfu, although I’ve been seeing less of them lately, explanation?

Can we all just take a moment to reflect on how profoundly stupid this sentence is.
You forgot Trevor Noah…
And now we know that this guy does not wear underwear on recording days.
@vox you forgot Trevor Noah
trevor noah?
Not even close here. These comedians are entertaining, but no substitute for genuine political discussion. Too many people today don’t see the difference between comically spouting empty platitudes and derision, and actually engaging in a discussion. These comedians have played an obvious role in that.
“taking bullshit way to seriously”.. mainstream media and the public in general should have learnt to do that ages ago, if it wasn´t for your tantrums over anything trump wouldn´t have gotten elected.
you do realize trump is the perfect distraction? everyone is focusing on him while congress is passing laws to screw us over.
We used to listen to politicians and laugh at comedians. Now we listen to comedians and laugh at politicians.
Waiting for butthurt Trumpies to come tell me the video is WRONG
Attacking Trump is fine
BUT
they appeared to have avoided calling out Hillary at all. They even attacked third parties more then Hillary. That Oliver video on Johnson and Stein was very cringey for him IMO.
I wish these talk show hosts would explain why Donna Brazille was fired from CNN when the wiki leaks showed that she gave Hillary the debate questions ahead of time.
I wish they’d cover why Debbie Wasserman Schultz was fired from being the head of the DNC when the leaks showed she was biasing her decisions in favor if Clinton.
People aren’t fired for nothing. I don’t like that the DNC was hacked, but you can’t tell that we didn’t find legitimate ethical issues with the DNC after the leaks. Would Bernie have been effected by these leaks in the same way if he won the primaries?
All of this convenient advantage makes Hillary suspiciously look like Goliath, the real power broker, and in effect this turned off many people who leaned slightly towards Hillary and otherwise would have voted for her.
Sometimes, if both evils look evil enough, apathy is a common result.
We all know John Oliver is the best
