Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Final Trailer

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – In Theaters November 16

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp. The cast also includes, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech.

“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

Slated for release on November 16, 2018, the film will be distributed worldwide in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

It*s not necessarily that Grindelwald was also gay. Maybe only Dumbledore loved him, like Snape loved Lily. Maybe that’s because Dumbledore trusted Snape so much, he knew what it was like

Valentina Avvisati as long as JK holds the reigns then we can keep assuming that

It’s never been confirmed either way, what Grindelwald sexuality is. Personally, I do think he’s gay, or at the very least bisexual, he just happens to be someone who values his agenda, and ultimate goal more than his personal life. He’s not an asexual psychopath like Voldemort was. He just firmly believes that wizards should come out of hiding, and yes manipulated Dumbledore. That doesn’t mean he didn’t have feelings for him.

    • MYGOD says:

@A proud Gryfindor Newt was able to beat Grindewald in the last movie which was why he was captured.

Voldemort has never been defeated by anyone prior to being defeated because Harry was the master of the Elder wand, did you not watch the trailer? Dumbledore can’t do shit against Grindelwald right now just like he couldn’t do shit against Voldemort.

Newt and his brother is enough for grindewald, Voldemort would have raped those two easily just like he did Dumbledore had him on the ground begging for death and how he murdered Grindelwald.

    • Jimmy B. says:

+MYGOD OK, so he won’t die but definitely fail to defeat Grindelwald, it’s canon. I just thought he could die while Tina is pregnant but if it’s known he happily lived ever after, it makes the story a bit too predictable

    • MYGOD says:

@Jimmy B he fails Because Newt disarmed before he had the elder Wand.

if Grindelwald was still using his old Wand then Newt would have beaten him again like he did in the last Movie. it just means you don’t know the lore of harry potter is all.

    Who will change the future?

These movies are prequels. The future is already set. We’ve already seen what happens in the future.

    • American Paisa says:

SevnLi “Who will change the future?” That’s literally their marketing ad/poster for this movie. These movies are prequels. They are set before Harry Potter but because the Harry Potter movies already came out we already know what the future holds so therefore they can not change the future. It’s already set. Check out the poster.

    • Nasmatique says:

+American Paisa I think it’s just a way for them to seperate themselves from the shadow of Harry Potter. To make us believe that the wizarding world isn’t just about Harry Potter and Voldemort, and that other conflicts may exist without them in it. “Who will change the future” is just a way to show us that other people aside from Potter and Voldemort can do something about the whole wizarding world. (But we already know the outcome of this conflict, don’t we ?)

    • Viatos Tosla says:

The fact that we have a vague understanding of what the future holds doesn’t mean that it should have been so. Someone had to change the future for it to become what we know of it.

    • pottermaniac 7 says:

Maybe we will see who has changed the “future” so the potter movies continues… Maybe one wrong fact was a disaster for the rest of the history wizarding world!

    • YodatheHobbit says:

But we dont know how they got there.

  5. Jamaica Hayes says:

I’m absolutely loving the theory that the reason why Dumbledore can’t fight or face Grinderwald is because of a unbreakable vow.

    • Jamaica Hayes says:

Thank everyone for replying lol I was just saying that I liked the theory however it fits or not fits. I still like it lol

    • Imustbecomfused says:

u just fucking ruined it…. thanks

    • Darkspoon1506 says:

We already know he fights Grindewald. Their duel is clearly referenced in the books and Dumbledore took the elder wand from Grindewald, so I’m kind of confused by that line.

    • PrkrMc says:

He can fight Grinderwald, and In fact they do battle in what is known as the “best duel” of all time in the wizarding world. Dumbledore wins the duel, even though Grinderwald posseses the invicible, elder wand. It’s what makes Dumbledore the most powerful wizard of all time. How did he do it? We don’t know. Hopefully movie 3 will do the battle justice.

    • Kit Kat says:

Cassidy McDaid Why can’t it be both? I wouldn’t be surprised if some wizard couples went to the extreme of doing an unbreakable vow to show their love for one another. It takes “Till death do us part” to a whole new level, considering if one of them ever goes against that love, they die.

Wait, @1:15 did they re-use the actor for young Grindelwald from Deathly Hallows ?

If so, that’s some good continuity right there.

  13. procrastinator547 says:

Looks like whoever’s in charge actually understands that this is a universe with a lot of magic that can make for far more spectacular and interesting scenes then pointed wands and flashes of light replacing what would otherwise be a gun fight in any other movie.
