Full Face Using ONLY Black-Owned Makeup Brands | NikkieTutorials

Today I’m using my platform to spread awareness and hopefully wake some people up when it comes to what’s currently happening in our world. Today I’m doing a full face using ONLY black-owned makeup brands. This challenge was created by Jackie Aina several years ago, and today it’s time to get raw.. and real. Please watch the entire video because all proceeds will be donated to the BLM movement!

Dose not make it any better. You are treating BLM as if its a trend. Discusting.

I absolutely love using Juvia’s Place makeup, they make some of the most pigmented shadows in the world and are a dream to work with and I can’t get enough of Ale Jay at the moment, just watch you’ll see. 🖤💜🖤

    “Let’s highlight these bags!”

I’m going to watch this video on repeat a few times to help.

    • Alana Gorman says:

Remember to watch a few videos in between watching Nikkie’s videos again because that way you get the ads again 😊

    • La Vero says:

Please be aware that Youtube might recognize this as spam and take the video down (it happened already to a lot of other youtubers) so make sure to watch it only maybe once or twice a day with a few hours and other videos inbetween

  4. R Etika says:

I’m so glad you made this video. It’s also meaningful that you’re becoming a UN ambassador as trans woman during Pride since the movement was partly started by a trans Black woman, Marsha P Johnson. Black people have fought for so many different groups over time, and it’s important we recognize that ❤️

  5. Fernando Tapia Jr. says:

One of my favorite brands and most trusted brands has always been Juvias place I almost own all of the Juvias place palettes and each and every one of my palettes been very well loved and my favorite black creator on YouTube is Jackie Aina! She is amazing and her artistry is always beautiful I love her personality, her art, and the topics she covers in every single one of her videos.

    • Courtney Dighton says:

Fernando Tapia Jr. I’m the same. Have been CRAZY for Juvia’s place for about 3 years now!

  6. Annie Lattimore says:

None of the ads popped up for me 🙃 guess I have to refresh and watch again 😁 Edit: refreshing the video worked and I got the ads. If you’re in the app close the app completely and go back in. Make sure Adblock is off and preferably using WiFi.

  7. Rae V.M says:

i’ve never even heard of Ace Beauty and now i’m in love with their pallets….. and uoma (? idk how to spell it) the black magic pallet🤤

  8. CallMe LaLa says:

Nikki as a black subscriber (i’ve been subbed forever) i appreciate this bc you didn’t care how you may sound necessarily all you cared about was speaking on the subject at hand & raise awareness.

  9. Tacita Barnes says:

Like the only time I am happy and fully supporting watching ads!!!!!!! Go Nikki! This is so amazing truly! I love this and I agree… I am not trying to offend but I want to be educated and I want to learn. I know I am white and privileged but I want to stand by the black community and support them anyway I can. Thank you Nikki x you are one of the many seeking a positive change and I salute you x

  10. Kylie Alexander says:

She did her EYEBROWS on camera!!!

  11. Christina Trejo says:

Oh girl I’m crying, you’re so smart and intelligent and so beautiful 😍❤️✨

Your right not some of my favorites have even mentioned it at all and it makes me feel less excepted and I wonder why. This trend has finally gotten the attention it deserves it s an easy time to jump on the train . But a lot of my favorite youtubers are so im proud of them and myself for that.

    • Kayci Langley says:

I think some creators in the beauty community are not only scared to speak up because they don’t know what to say, but I think most of them are scared of losing followers. And if your main focus is your scared of losing followers then you are apart of the problem. So far I have seen Manny Mua do a video, Jaclyn Hill and Jeffree Star have been very active on Instagram and on twitter raising awareness, donating, and signing petitions and I could not be more of proud. I appreciate Nikki as well because she doesn’t care if she looses followers for supporting a cause.

  14. Lisa McGuire says:

One of my favorite creators is Nyma Tang. When I subbed to her channel she lived in Dallas and I lived and still live in humid Texas, too. The humidity affects everything. Immediately, I understood: she is an artist masterfully creating glowing beauty with colorful shadow, lips, nails and more. But I also understood her to be an activist confronting make up companies in a very dignified and self-respecting way to include many times deeper colors to match all skin tones. Once you have viewed one of her videos it just makes sense!

  15. liz kavanagh says:

yes!!!! if you guys want to watch this video over and over to raise more money, i suggest adding it into a playlist with other videos that are donating their proceeds to help the BLM movement as well. this way it ensures that your views count and we can spread the love to other creators raising money for different organizations!

thank you for making this video, it makes me so proud to support you 💕and congratulations on your role with the UN!!! this has been such an incredible year for you and your voice/platform has played such a large role in helping other people. you’re so inspiring and i can’t wait to see what else you do.

  17. Emma Cooling says:

Can u do the “one dip challenge” where u use one dip of a product and that’s all ur aloud to use for that product x

  18. CS Jobson says:

It’s great having you as the part of the movement, Nikkie!! 🥰🙌🏾 And thank you for speaking up against Black Pete. I actually visited the Netherlands last year (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Haarlem) and in the former two cities in particular, I found them to be a lot more racially diverse than I expected. I met and for sure saw BIPOC which was awesome. But I know the country has its issues too. ✊🏾Do consider the NAACP Legal Defense Fund to send a donation to. 🙏🏾

  19. Selu says:

You know Nikkie is serious when she does her eye brows on camera.
