This is what I’ve missed since Halo 3. Bravo. Bravo 343. You gave me some hardcore nostalgia feeling there. I’m so hyped for this.

A week ago, i had a dream that I played Halo 6, dont remeber anything the gameplay, but I cried tears of joy after finishing the story because the game was the finale of the entire Halo franchize and they did it right. A masterpiece. It was easily the best Halo game, beating Halo 2’s story and 3’s multiplayer. Some of the vegue visuals i remember looks a little like this game. Hopefully it was a vision. But we’ll just have to wait and see if my dream comes true.

As long as this game has no micro transactions, a satisfying campaign and good multiplayer worthy of the title of Halo I will consider repurchasing an Xbox One to play it. 343 I’m *really* rooting for you this time, don’t disappoint me *again.*

From the (brief) back view of the MJOLNIR’s armor it looks like more of the classic art style is returning and that’s *great* news. Also I’m loving the music. Also if there is an MA5B (that’s the 60 round one from CE) I’d be extremely happy.

    • Marcel Rodriguez says:

xxxCrackerJack501xxx doesnt make sense how they gonna wear an outdated armor if its set after halo 5. I wanna see how badly cortanas guardians rekt humanity.

    • Sammydude 18792 says:

Spotlightgopz lol I own every halo ever released, (obviously not halo harvest) even the 2 mobile ones and both halo wars, I have every DLC for every halo, even halo both PC unofficial games, I LOVE HALO, (dont worry I play other games too but mostly halo) my fave is halo ce and halo2 °_° I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

    • Leonidas the Great says:

AI have taken over and therefore if they can’t make the new halo 4-5 armor, they need to use stuff that is outdated (and iconic) to supply their troops. So there’s your reason

    • Daenerys Stormborn Of House Targaryen says:

Leonidas the Great also his helmet isn’t cracked, so clearly that is all they had spare for him

    • David Vander Ven says:

Geoff Rey that dishonor is a toss up between 4 and 5…

I liked that Halo 4 had a unique soundtrack and style, so I was very annoyed when 343 scrapped it all for the sake of nostalgia, but then managed to screw it up with an awful engine, design and campaign. So yeah I’m glad they fully reverted back to the classic style instead of trying to be nostalgic and new at the same time but part of my thinks what this game would have looked and sounded like had they stuck to their guns with the style and beautiful soundtrack from 4.
I think 4 is disregarded a lot as being as bad as 5, but I think that’s a bit of an insult to the game – it had major issues but also some outstanding qualities. But hey, reverting back is probably what the franchise needed, especially after Halo Wars 2 looked as good as it did.

    • Blare Green says:

I have to admit, Halo 4 was pretty fun to play for the first little while, and I was happy to see the return of the Chief as well. The engine was pretty good even if 343 messed up a lot of things in it.

    • Van Dammage says:

Josh Wilson, awfull engine? Bungie only does shitty 30fps engines. 343 are on another level

    • Eh Itz Eagle says:

Halo 4 was the worst in my opinion and was the death point of halo. The music u hear is bungie music not gay halo 4 music

    • Pyro says:

amen brother, halo 4 literally dropped from 1 mill player count to like 20k after 4 months, shit game.

    • Brutal-108 says:

the look of both 4 and 5 were not bad, but not nearly as good as the original halo. halo 4 was bad. halo 5 was a clear improvement gameplay wise. ditching every change in 4 and 5 will be what saves the series as they were plain out awful decisions made by people who didn’t even like halo

God, I want this game to be good so badly. I want Halo to retake the FPS throne. This teaser is promising.

  17. AlexDarkEnergy says:

So nostalgic, like good old days. I remember I played Halo: Combat Evolved in 2003.. it was like yesterday

    • Opethian says:

AlexDarkEnergy Same here and system linking the console to play multiplayer with friends was a blast back then. Yeah, fingers crossed but I’m not holding my breath.

    • Lucky S says:

I just started up the HALO collectors edition. HALO 1 is still pretty fun and surprisingly challenging.

  18. Royann Greenwood says:

    My Predictions:
    1. Halo Infinite is going to be Open world single player/campaign and multiplayer (343 would be stupid to ruin it by making it a complete battle royale game, however, there could be multiple game modes for Halo 6 including some sort of spartan ops or firefight royale as an option but that’s my view)

    2. The old and new halo art styles will be merged together to make the game visually familiar and appealing.

    3. The halo ring seen in this trailer could suggest that that its the same ring seen in Halo 5s Legendary Ending

    4. Third Person and First Person modes/views, kinda like how GTA 5 does it when you change camera modes.

    5. The size of the game would be large. For PC and XBOX, we could be looking at 80GB or more worth of game.

    6. Like I stated at the beginning, Halo Infinite would have to be open world, why would they spend years developing the slipspace engine just to handle small environments. From what I see in the Trailer, the engine built for large open worlds and scarce environments.

    6. PC Modding Support, People would be making mods and other creative content to mod the game. Similar how Some steam games have the workshop.

    7. Cross-Platform, users from both PC and Xbox can play together online

Old Cheif Armour? Chiefs Armour, I think suffered significant damage over the course of Halo 4 and Halo 5, considering that his visor was damaged in Halo 5 and the amount of stress the armour took from forerunner weaponry and energy. Also it could be possible that modern technology is prone to destruction by Cortana and the guardians.

  19. Craig Bailey says:

    Halo fans: 343 sucks
Also halo fans: thank you 343
