Home-Cooked Vs. $1000 Gingerbread House

Ned & Ariel use their Google Home Hub to make a home-cooked gingerbread house then compare it to a $1000 gingerbread house at a fancy bakery. It’s the Holiday Special of Night In / Night Out! #NightInNightOut

Was Zach taking care of the baby? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
EDIT : Everyone is telling me “eugene” down below, but I didn’t post this comment because eugene did take care of wesley last time, I’m posting it because it’s funny thinking of Zach trying to take care of him. ❀ I know the try guys since their first video on buzzfeed so don’t worry I’m able to tell who is who πŸ˜™ thanks for your concern

    One word: Goals

  3. sleepypanda17 says:

I liked the video, don’t get why people are complaining it’s cheesy. It’s Ned and his wife. Ned alone is cheesy but that’s part of the try guy charm. Add his wife and dog and it’s adorable. Plus gingerbread is awesome

  4. Hannah Basilio says:

    They are so. Married.

  5. Heidi B says:

Oh my goodness Ned & Ariel are so cute, their funny little jokes and Ariels little jup of joy going into the bakery kitchen. So cute.

  6. Aaron Blue says:

Gosh Ariel needs to be in more try guys videos. The try girl.

  7. Taylor Baldauf says:

    Ariel is seriously the cutest

  8. LΓ©a Dayco says:

Ned and Ariel make this OK to be cheesy. Give me all the cheese

  9. Maya Sparadeo says:

Lmao now I wanna see Becky and Keith go up against Ned and Ariel to see which couple makes a better house πŸ˜‚ or like all the try guys go up against each other

  10. Juli Patchouli says:

Ariels golden skirt is amazing!! Does anybody know, where to buy it?

    • TheirMine says:

It looks like its from Target! They have one now that looks exactly like it and judging by Ned having his suit from Target, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say her outfit was too πŸ™‚

    • Winter Long says:

Modcloth, Asos, and Shinesty have them too. Shinesty is great for like any Christmas clothes honestly. And they’ve been doing suits like Neds for years.

  11. Belle Rose says:

*Worth it has left the chat.*

  12. poly r says:

this was like watching two little kids getting excited by gingerbread, and then Ned saying “we’re _new_ parents” while wearing _that_ suit. adorable

  13. Miss S says:

I missed Night In / Night Out – so glad it’s back :)!!!! Also, please make Eugene Reacts to Detective Pikachu. πŸ™‚

  14. Alyona Budanova says:

To the people who say they just watched a 13 minute long ad: the google thingy was mentioned at the very beginning as a sponsor and it was used to ask for the recipe and for the measurements? They just literally showed how it’s used and that’s it.
If you get the feeling of it being an ad because it’s very positive and not balanced by humour then you must be unfamiliar with the night in/night out format or Ned/Ariel couple dynamics, which I guess is on you.
This actually is an example of an ad that doesn’t shove the product down our throats while incorporating it into the storyline and the format naturally. Props to the team!

    • Gacha Stanky says:

Alyona Budanova exactly. This is just how Ned and Ariel are together and it’s not because it’s an ad.

    • eliza s says:

I actually don’t agree. Well, I agree with your estimate of the timing, but I thought it was painfully uncomfortable, stilted and scripted when they were focusing on their product placement/pitch. I don’t mind them doing that – make the money! wheeeee! – and if they need sponsors to continue some of their fun series work like this, cool. But please, do it better. I know they can.

    • Woodshadow says:

Alyona Budanova it felt like a very long scripted ad. It’s 13 minutes. That is long to begin with. People lose focus half way in (after the ad). And the night out portion was just weird. Who spends $1000 on eating a gingerbread house? It isn’t a date night. That is just a clickbait title. It felt really forced in there.
I think the video flowed smoothly and there wasn’t a ton of ad talk but without the ad I don’t think they would be making that video at all

    • E L says:

This is probably the most thought out comment I’ve ever seeen on YouTube

  15. JK87 says:

1000 dollars for a damn gingerbread house.. I don’t care how pretty it looks, that is way to much money for a gingerbread house πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

  16. Charlotte Haring says:

I’m happy they got sponsored, I know it’s a little different but proud of them.

    • eliza s says:

They did sponsored stuff with Buzzfeed – a distracted driving video sponsored by and featuring a Kia car, their sea trip series sponsored by a studio promoting a sea-based movie, etc.

    • Claire Schmaltz says:

+eliza s the car that was used was Keith’s

    • eliza s says:

+Claire Schmaltz I’m not talking about their recent series – back when they were with Buzzfeed, they did a sponsored distracted driving spot. Ariel was ‘kidnapped’ and they stuck a clown in the car with Eugene and gave Zach a box of kittens to distract him.

    • Maya Osaka says:

+eliza s I think people are happy they’re sponsored now since they’re not with BuzzFeed anymore – they’re independent so getting a sponsor is a big deal πŸ˜€

    • eliza s says:

+Maya Osaka I’m glad for them. The more sponsors, the more likely they continue producing content, etc. But this can be improved on.

  17. Gabriella Aluigi says:

can we bring back the rest of the barkchelor

  18. Hammad Ali says:

I just want to see a 15 minute video of Eugene fanboying over detective Pikachu. However, this was cool too.

  19. JamesL 1301 says:

99% of the comments: β€œstop complaining that the video is sponsored”

1% of the comments: β€œactually complaining that the video was sponsored”

  20. Briana Martinez says:

The tittle should have been β€œNed and Ariel Being Cute”
