Thanks Scotty I was waiting for a vídeo about this oil, and also I would like to know what do you think about the Toyota AE86, and what do you recomend to do it if it was 3 years parked, thanks a lot 👋😀
Love some free oil. I usually use Valvoline here because I think it’s high quality and I can get the normal oil for a good price. I usually change it every 3k but newest car we own is a 99 so probably not as picky and they all leak a tiny bit and have high mileage. I drive em and keep en going till it’s not worth fixing them anymore.
Hey Scotty, you’re trending #11 on YouTube. Congrats.
Amazon oil is made from the finest tropical plants and animals.
Amazon books? Yes. Amazon Oil? Ehh. No 🐱 Mobil 1 is good enough for me😝

Oh sí sí oh yeah yeah
I just run Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. I can’t be bothered to change the oil more than once a year. Here’s a question, Why does the regular “up to 10%” Ethanol Gasoline destroy everything yet you don’t hear anything about the E85 (other than nobody uses in comparison)? I run Ethanol Free is everything from the weedwacker right on up to the SUVs. Expensive but you never gotta worry about your machines sitting with fuel in them and gumming up.
+minameise dont think 93 ethanol free exists rn. Besides, would still get the regular 93 over the ethanol free 88 or 89 octane
I never run ethanol in any vehicle I drive and definitely not in any small engine. My state has non ethanol everywhere. I would never just change my oil once a year though no matter what oil I ran. I mainly run Mobil too.
+ryan We have a couple of pumps around my town that are 0% ethanol. Its targeted for marine applications and antique cars.
Lucc 701 which state do you live in?
Here in Pennsylvania, there is 2 gas stations that offer Ethanol free but it’s rated at 91 non has 93 unfortunately!
Damn scotty. #11 on trending.
Awesome man. So proud of you dude! Ty for your candor and content over the years

Clean and unoffensive comment. Scotty. I really like the new Chevy Colorado ZR2 trucks but not sure on the reliability of the LFX style V6 (like in the Traverse and Camaro) or the baby foreign made duramax. If I buy one it will have to last 200k miles. Have you had any experience with the gas V6 Traverse or Camaro engines. I’ve heard the dohc system is no good on these for reliability. Thanks
B Martin I have a 2012 camaro v6 and drive it 200 miles a day.
With no issues. Just always change my oil and always check my car for fluids and tire pressure.
I used it on my 500lb girlfriend and it works fine
Joe Copa 😂😂😂
+Joe Copa At the same time and you guys never met
How many quarts does she take?
Does she run on KFC ?
maple syrup?
Have been looking into the Amazon basics oil lately , thanks for your research on this , I believe what you say !
5 quart jug of Mobil clean 5000 conventional oil 5w-30 for $15 is good for me…
you can get pennzoil with a $10 rebate, full synthetic from walmart, 5qt would run you about $13-14. So aside from Dealing with walmart, you can get the brand name for a cheaper price.
Nikolaos Vitoroulis Walmart always has the best deals on oil, first time hearing about a $10 rebate I might have to give it a try!
yeah but here you dont have to mail in a rebate
And will ship for free over 35. Probably 3 times as much selection online.
Scotty the pictures you choose are so funny.
Can I have some oil please
“Oils well that ends well” !!!
Wow …..
+Dr. Westside …wow indeed !!!
Rev up your engines!!! It’s my birthday Scotty. Can I get a like
Jordan Gomez I gave you a like. But it’s not the same as a like from Lord Scotty himself…
Happy Birthday tho
*The best oil out there is AMSOIL not the red line*
Scotty uses excuse rare cars use redline. They use amsoil too.
No red line is better go to a race track most use red line or royal purple
miishutka, klotz oils outperform amsoil oils especially the 2cycle oils.
+visnaw11 that doesn’t sound like a good idea for cars with over 150,000 miles
+ArchV1 *Redline oil got Low Durability – There is no doubt that Redline products offer exceptional lubrication to engine components, which allow you to leverage remarkable efficiency and performance. However, according to numerous customer reviews, the oil has to be changed much regularly than other synthetics in the marketplace.*
Alexa, change the oil in my car.
“Okay, ordering Amazon Basics Engine Oil optimized *for 1996 Toyota Celica.”*
Alexa: I don’t know that!
Be man do it yourself. Lol jk. Good joke.
That, sir, is the best comment on the entire YouTube platform for this week.
+Mr. Meth
And yours is a very close 2nd. LoL 😂
OIL COMPANIES NOT GUNNA BE HAPPY ABOUT THIS!! LOL
Amazon receives huge tax subsidies like AT&T and Google. Of the American people truly knew how little in taxes these huge Corporations pay in comparison to themselves in percentage they would be outraged. Why else do you think they can sell products lower than most? Jeff Bezos is like Mark Zuckerberg, wealthy because of WHO they know not WHAT they know. So much for following our American Constitution and decentralizing power. We the people should be owning a percentage of these companies because we the people fund them through our tax payer dollars. Why do you think Trump doesnt like Jeff Bezos? Bezos also owns the Washington post, think about it.
Trump is a hater on anyone that does better than him…
Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 heavy duty diesel oil. It is full synthetic. $20/gal. Rated for 80,000 miles in over the road trucks. I use that in everything. I’d put it on salad if I ate salad.
spike555 good to know thanks.
I hear the jeep guys talking about Rotella T5, something about the zinc content helps the camshaft lobes not get worn down as much in the 150k+ mile 4.0s
loud Ring you’re welcome.
The best thing you can do is to use the oil and filter combo of your choice, run them for your oil change interval and then take a SOS (service oil sample) and the results will tell you exactly how well that oil and filter performed. The lab will recommend shortening or lengthening your oil changes. Or even changing oil brands. Blackstone labs will send you a oil sample kit for free, then follow the directions and send it in. It’s $35 for a oil sample test.
They told me that I can easily go 15,000 miles on the Rotella and Purolator PureOne oil filter that I use. But I do not. I change it every 5,000 miles because I need to grease both drive shafts, that’s 6 grease fittings and unless I’m changing the oil I will not grease them. Plus changing the oil is when you need to be checking other things as well, transmission, transfer case, differential fluid levels too. I know me and I will not do those things unless I am under the truck already.
I am a commercial driver, have been for 26+yrs and maintenance is life. If those wheels are not turning I am not making money. Break downs cost money in down time, repairs and truck rental. Not cool yo. Always be pro active in maintenance and repairs. It will save you money and headache every time.
spike555 I agree 👍
We ran rotella in all the motors on the oil rigs I worked on. The generator motors run 24/7 at almost full throttle and only got shut down for oil changes. If it’s good enough to survive that it’s good enough for me.
I run it in everything. From the diesels to my 7,000 rpm play truck.
Bezos needs his oil to have some slick moves to protect his “richest man in the world” title.
If i get a dollar every time scotty says Toyota.
