  3. Tessa Smith says:

I like how dry the chefs are but they don’t seem uninterested. Just dry you know? It might be their voices. I like it. Lol.

    • Sour Cream says:

Tessa Smith But us Thai people are _always_ having fun so no worries about their enthusiasm being hard to tell lmaooo 😂

    • Naiadryade says:

For folks who haven’t heard about tonal languages before, there are many languages where the tone or pitch of your voice affects the actual meaning of the word. So what to an English speaker would sound like the same word, said in a rising tone vs. a falling tone, are actually two entirely different words. Thai has 5 tones.

    • Ezii Saenz says:

Kourtney Kardashian basically speaks tonal language lol

    • Tsz Fung Li says:

Naiadryade Yeah, native speakers of tonal language tends to assign one or two tone to each English word. Which is usually flat.

  8. Tashauna Drysdale says:

Waiting patiently for the Jamaican episode

  9. wordkyle says:

So was Qunicy used just to add credibility and then discarded? He said he’s a podcaster, but no links to his podcast, no Special Thanks, nothing?

  13. Celal A says:

Poor Quincy , i think it was kinda awkward for him

  14. Noot says:

….5:57 Did they purposely write “Cilantro” wrong…? with an “S”..? Am I missing something here?

    • Naiadryade says:

CinnamonStick_ In the US we have different words for the leaves vs the seeds of the coriander plant. In a culinary context coriander refers to the seed, while we call the leaf and stalk cilantro.

And yeah, like others said, they did it on purpose.

    • Lorena Favela says:

S is for smoking all that weed that comes in the making of this series

    • Nat PM says:

they used the correct spelling elsewhere, so I’m assuming the s was purposely used for alliteration

    • Rey says:

Yes. You are missing something. They were going for a visual representation of the alliteration in “Subtle cilantro.” Alliteration is fun. Look into it.

    • Ralleh1 says:

Just a pun on the word silent and cilantro.

  15. Sjivje says:

Keith is always so unnecessarily rude even if he is joking.

    • Sjivje says:

Not really and especially not like on 7:27. Keith seemed legit annoyed.

    • Cher Vue says:

I agree. Sometimes I cringe at his comments and find them slightly racist. With the Asian episodes I saw and heard a lot of references that made me feel they were trying too hard (cultural appropriation). There’s always that sound and tone that you associate with Asians and they def outplayed it during these episodes. Idk it was awkward to watch their jokes this time around. I’m not personally offended but I just found it cringeworthy

    • Scandi Snowgirl says:

Cher Vue I’m not sure you really know what cultural appropriation is Hun

    • Questchaun says:

      Yeah a definite douchebag.

    • Questchaun says:

Scandi Snowgirl nice underhanded insult hun.

  16. Cypress Pulvermacher says:

    this episode was so uncomfortable

  17. musicksol says:

Pretty disrespectful to Quincy. I’d say this is a skipable chickenwatch 🙁

  18. Conformist138 says:

I keep wanting to like this show, but I really wish they would stop yelling the name of the show every 30 seconds. I’m also not into the sort of uncomfortable humor they seem to be going for. It’s a matter of personal taste and I find it off-putting.

  19. Jess M says:

You should really learn how to treat your guests better. I felt so bad for Quincey through the whole thing and could literally feel his uncomfortableness as he was left out and ignored

  20. vidiesel says:

I used to love this series but now the constant screaming of “CHICKEN WATCH!” is becoming excessive and annoying.
