That shit straight pressure idgaf what anybody say Cole hard everybody just wanna hate bc he changed the flow up but how can you expect a person to stay the same after years and years go by y’all just some dummies open you’re mind up to new things and catch that new wave you are not forced to like his new shit but a lot of people do so stop hating or keep it moving that man too hard and still killing the game πŸ’―

    *”Freestyle”* ………………………Right!

    • YouTuber scott says:

Wish I was sleeping that’s not what a freestyle is though it’s not necessarily on the spot it can be prewritten but not thought of as a song is

    • Molaja says:

Wish I was sleeping i know what you mean and i agree but the definition or freestyle has changed in the hip-hop community

    • moley812 says:

You cant be a hip hop head if you dont know a freestyle is different from coming off the top rope. I hate it when people are completely wrong but speak with so much conviction…smh

    • bombay067 says:

I get lots of dudes come to my studio and I make them go freestyle for 30 minutes, off the top, regarding a given topic, sometimes no topic at all….then, I use the recorded freestyle for ad-libs and the artist leverages some of those choice bars when writing to the desired song…so its possible that written lyrics are bourne from actually off the dome lyrics. Lots of artists and producers use this approach when you have a rapper that has “off the dome” skills, as it adds liveliness and creativity to the writing and delivery. This is extremely useful for typical random free-flowing unstructured lyrics vs storytelling. Also, having a hook or not has no bearing on whether it’s freestyle.

    • Tyler Livingston says:

ore olaleye KOD wasn’t a for a bump to a lit beat, it was a lyrical story throughout each song and arguably his best album lyrically
