Jimmy Kimmel on Passenger Dragged Off United Flight

Jimmy has a lot to say about the video of a United Airlines passenger being dragged off a plane because the flight was overbooked. Amidst all the controversy though, United won’t even admit doing anything wrong, in fact they seem to be doubling down.

    Boycott United!

  2. Sharpice Woods says:

If the person dragged off is an African American, there is probably going to be a riot on the street, but he is Asian, so jokes on TV.

  3. ChrissySays says:

That passenger was a 69-year-old physician. If the audience saw a WHITE 69-year-old physician in that exact same situation, I’m sure that they wouldn’t have been laughing. I’m glad Jimmy Kimmel brought attention to this horrific incident, but wow. Those people who laughed in that audience. I hope someone told them straight that they should be ashamed of laughing at the brutality they just witnessed in that clip. Jimmy Kimmel seemed a little unnerved by their laughter. I wonder who he saw laughing as he called it interesting; I have a bad feeling I already know the answer.

What is wrong with the audience? I mean it’s fine to laugh when he makes a joke but why are they laughing at the video when no one is talking

  5. It'sKatie says:

Hearing the laughing from the audience was disgusting

  6. Jason Murphy says:

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!! THEY DIDNT OVERBOOK THE FLIGHT. THEY WANTED TO KICK PASSENGERS OFF TO MAKE ROOM FOR 4 UNITED EMPLOYEES WHO FLY FOR FREE. United is trying to insist the flight was overbooked because according to their “rule 25” they have the right to remove passengers if a flight is overbooked. THIS IS NOT THE CASE.

  7. Nour AlKhasieb says:

you all need to support this doctor to sue united airlines.

  8. Zukushikari Rin says:

“I have to go home, I have to go home, I have to go home”

i nearly cried… you suck united!

  9. C. A. G. says:

This flight was NOT OVERBOOKED. UAL committed an act of terrorism against a paying, boarded, seated, passenger to make room for non-paying, unboarded, employees who DID NOT HAVE TICKETS! As for tickets, Southwest beats ALL airlines EVERY time on the price of tickets, and it’s not even close because they don’t charge $70 for your bags or beat you up in the aisle.

Can U imagine if this was your dad and u were sitting next to him and they did this to him. DISGUSTING

  11. ContactingTheDead says:

*NO ONE* in the media has showed how the guy came back and was bloodied up. They clearly punched him a few times in his seat. The clip that was showed here of him getting back on shows the blood, but Kimmel cut it a few seconds short.

  12. Merchant Ivory says:

Need to screw over 4 customers?
    Pay them 3-5k each
    Cost: 12k-20k
Beat the ship out of you custmoer and lose hundreds of thousands in damage control.

  13. Sang Luu says:

What a perfect topic to make a joke about. Excellent humour Jimmy Kimmel! smh

  14. Dammy says:

    Shame on united

  15. IBradFrazer says:

I have to be honest here, the people who’re laughing at this poor guy should be ashamed. I have no clue why they’re laughing.

  16. Filipe Cunha says:

they lost millions of dollars on stock market right after this. It serves them well. Also if i were that guy i would take them to court and ask millions for that. This thing is all over the news around the world so it would be an easy case. I bet United would try to settle for 2 millions of so.

  17. Soren Andrews says:

The people who laughed are the same who like Pineapple Pizza… Keep it down ISIS members

  18. ha2152 says:

I can’t understand why such a violent incident is being played for laughs. This is in such poor taste!

  19. Amhlair says:

Why are these demented assholes in the audience laughing? Our America gets scarier every day.

  20. Mikhail Kalashnikov says:

You could say the man was belligerent; you could say he’s stubborn, but there just isn’t any justification whatsoever to drag a non-violent, PAYING passenger out of the plane in such a humiliating manner. There’s just no god damn excuse for that utter lack of human decency.
United doesn’t seem to understand they work in the SERVICE industry. Good riddance to them losing hundreds of millions in stock value.
