Most Unique Street Food in China | DEEP China Street Food Tour – XINJIANG

Street Food in China – Chinese Street Food – China Street Food. We made our way DEEP into Western China, Xinjiang province, in search of the BEST and most unique street food in China. As soon as you arrive, it feels like you’re entering a whole new street food world. This definitely is some of the best street food around the world!

When we arrived, we wanted to try all of the western china street food specialties. A lot of them really resemble central asian street food. I’ve tried street food in Hong Kong, Street food in Guangzhou, Street food in Chengdu, Sichuan, and all around China, but as soon as we tried this street food in deep western china, I was amazed at how delicious and UNIQUE it really was!

Everything was really cheap, ad the locals, who are Uighurs, are really friendly. I can’t speak uighur language, so I got by with mandarin, but it would have been better to study a little uighur beforehand. Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience to visit turpan in Xinjiang, China, to taste the delicious and unique street food!

Here are the street food locations in this video:

1) Zhuafan AKA Pilaf AKA Polo (Uighur Style Pilaf) –
2) Kao baozi (huge yellow baked lamb stuffed pockets)
3) Lagman Hand Pulled noodles –
4) Nang bread –
5) Baked Lamb – Lamb Heaven! (Jiazi rou)

  9. HungryTongue YoBitch says:

this proves how corrupt America is over pricing fake quality ingredients, he is paying less than 3 dollars for amazing, fresh, quality meals. love you’re videos

  10. Choi Lu says:

your journey is comparable to modern Marco Polo with food, haha. most western folks think of China as a homogeneous and very discriminatory point of view but your videos just blow that out of the water. also, a reminder to folks in the western world,
don’t let the media dictate your point of view of a country and that Politics and People are two separate entities.

  11. NADIRMAHMOOD and says:

you looked like you were about to cry when you didn’t get the meat first loooollll

  16. SARTAAJ says:

Looks like he faced racism at the end meat stall.

  17. Beefslap says:

Damn Trevor was panicking when the meat was running out FAST!

  18. Jonathan M says:

at 19:30 good guy Chinese dude

  19. Mish1n says:

The locals, including the vendor, at the meat stall were very rude. It was uncomfortable to watch. You said “my first time” and no one acknowledged you, then you asked “which is the best piece?” and people could care less. On top of that, you kept repeating “Hello” to get noticed and were the last person to get served. You should have just walked out and most of your viewers would agree with your decision. You are doing a good job with the channel, but why compromise your self respect over some salty tandoor lamb?
