Looks rich to me…they will be okay. Working poor, poor, ect those neighborhoods should be featured! Not some rich A-holes beach home!

    • M T says:

Shut up punk. You’ve never even been to New Bern much less know anything about it. I bet you do know a lot about sucking cock though…

    • M T says:

Buttercookie is good at following ejaculation orders……. in his mouth.

    • Madison Whatley says:

The poor places aren’t as near to the bad areas tbh (water) area waterfront property is more costly I used to live in wilmington/ Jacksonville

    • Rob C says:

yah we know the propaganda drill storm hits: “women, children, minorities and poor people hit hardest, and it’s all Trumps fault for not signing some globalist BS climate treaty.” Never had hurricanes under Clinton or Obama or any other democrat president ok sure whatever you say man it must be true…….

    • Sarah Lynch says:

Asinine comment. The wealthier homes are the waterfront homes with the most damage. No one is saying the less expensive homes matter less- there is just less ‘news’ to cover there because they didn’t have as much damage. It’s a pretty simple explanation- maybe too difficult for you to understand though. Saying someone “will be okay” because they look rich to you is just insensitive.

  3. TheDesert IsPatient says:

Is that an area with evacuation ordered? Why did they stay and why are they expecting to be rescued.?

    • Lord Night Villain says:

+milchuck You idiots say Common sense and that’s why you lack BASIC SENSE. It’s not cut and dry. Especially with terrible leaders and people like you doing nothing. A week’s notice won’t even get you out of a job. Nice try

    • milchuck says:

Lord night you’re a goddamn moron. It is not the government’s responsibility to get you from your house because you’re too fucking stupid to leave after being warned for an entire week. Let me guess, you’re some fucking stupid kid living in your mom’s basement and have had everything handed to you all of your stupid, gimme gimme life. Get out in the world you dumbfuck and maybe you will understand you have to take some personal fucking responsibility for your own actions and your own safety.

    • crowwithashortcake says:

milchuck well apparently youve never had a fucking job before. you know companies have threatened to fire people if they leave, right? what about people who have literally zero money because theyre scraping by paycheck to paycheck? you sound like a cunt spoiled by your parents who has never been poor before. fuck off, degenerate

I’m only a few minutes down the road from Wilmington and Hampstead it’s really bad here my prayers go out to that woman’s family for their loss

    • Madzkill says:

why didnt she leave? they were told to leave…

    • JJ Paris says:

      PlayStation Guy85 bless you

    • mallory J says:

PlayStation Guy85 I am praying for everyone and I’m so heartbroken for all your going thru and what’s to come! Bc what’s to come I’m guessing will be much worse, the damage the lack of resources, the lack of power, the loss of life and all you have… I have never been thru anything like that, so I have no idea what it must feel like, the terror of it all. Since your closer, I was just curious what keeps people from evacuating prior to the storm. Is it just the lack of being able to do so, as in the horrendous cost to relocate for example?

The people behind this Weather Manipulation are fulfilling BIBLE PROPHECY !

Weather they Know it or Not !

“And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”
      (Luke 21:11)
      ______________________________

In 2018 we witnessed Extreme Weather Events !

The disasters in 2018 point to the prophecies of Christ, which are coming to pass !

      Please read Matthew 24.

Further, in Mark 13:8, we read, For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

      In Luke 21:11, Christ says,
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

In Luke 21:25, the Christ says,
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.

      In Romans 8:22, we read,
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Since The prophecies are coming to pass, as they are listed in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and in Luke 21, you must Repent of your sins and Believe The Gospel of Jesus Christ if you want to be SAVED !

They where told to leave. “no im staying” when the storm happens “help me, help me”

    • ghost woomy says:

Windows Sucks I completely agree. Some people are idiots and just can’t see that.

    • Don Jon says:

It sounds to me all these people are just stubborn and listen to reason WHEN it’s obvious!! Get the F out of town!!! You don’t have money or relatives to stay at? Stay in your car. You don’t have a car? Fucken run and stay in a box if you have to damnit, don’t put others at risk because of your idiotic mistakes!!!

    • ghost woomy says:

Don Jon stay in a car? Stay in a BOX? The only person making idiotic acts (or in this case, actions) is you! Fucking dumbass boxes deteriorate in water and cars stall and shit like that. 10 feet of water in some places…. and you expect people to stay in a box? You’re stupid as fuck

    • Selena Jackson says:

Howard James Lmfaooo gosh darn it stop making me laugh , this is a sad situation

    • que en says:

“You get out there and do what you are TRAINED to do” Did you hear the man? they signed up for that kind of stuff so don’t blame the citizens if they call for rescuing. Nurses and doctors and other medical professionals are risking their lives everyday too. There are contagious diseases inside the hospital but I don’t hear none of you complaining about the patients.

  6. Daniella Hernandez says:

    The prayer scene was beautiful.

  7. Daniella Hernandez says:

What a cute little girl with those brettes . God bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    • Carol G says:

Daniella Hernandez I thought the same thing. I’m glad she’s alright, but I wish all these ppl would have evacuated when they were told to. They put their lives, & the rescuers lives in danger.

  8. Miguel Ircontar says:

Idk y people don’t listen and evacuate

    • Self Peace says:

I wonder the same thing. I don’t know if it is attachment to their material belongings or what. Even just the hassle of not having electricity and water is not worth going through especially if you have a family with kids.

After experiencing Irma, I’ve come to the conclusion that evacuating and being wrong is safer/better than staying and being wrong.

Also, the rescuers are having to put their own lives in jeopardy for the people who decide to stay.

    • Lord Night Villain says:

+AccuracySlays That’s a stupid assumption. It cost money to take care of those same people you mention. And with no transportation. This is a complex situation. Stop giving inconsiderate answers and think about it. You’ve never had to even fathom leaving behind everything you have. This is not a simple matter.

    • Julia Belk says:

AccuracySlays So where are they going to go if they have no money….🤔

    • 4killerCurtis says:

+Julia Belk Being homeless is better than death. A child has already died, and it didn’t even need to happen. If the parents evacuated their child would of been safe, isn’t that more important than anything’s …

    • Qakn says:

So if your parents paid bills and have only 100 bucks give me a breakdown of your evacuation plan

  9. Rona Love says:

People? Storm surge and 40 inches plus of rain… continuously until the end? Is REAL… Get out the way of coasts… creeks… rivers… or any nearby water ways with this sorta Hurricane… The winds wasn’t the main issue… The rain… torrential rain? Is the major problem because of flooding. Don’t ever underestimate A Hurricane coming in at damn near 3… especially a 4… And you are I’ll equipped or even asking for it at a 5 level??? Don’t Play! And you playing at your own risk to defy the odds. Prayers and Relief for All those affected. Live through IT! One Love😇

  10. Kenny 92 says:

to think that Mom was watching evacuation orders on TV and thinking they could just ride it out …lesson is, even if you think it won’t be bad, still evacuate because better safe than sorry

  11. Just Jo says:

Rescue who? They had a week warning ⚠️

  12. Maria Esther says:

    • Valentin Garcia says:

yeah, and they are just stupid and irresponsible… they don’t evacuate and then ! when the water starts to rise….they are in a hurry to be saved… so. the rescue people have to risk their lives… I say..unless. someone was too ill to really feel like evacuating (and they could have called the authorities b4 anyway) but I can understand old people..maybe so sick that they just feel overwhelmed..but other people have no business staying there…like the woman who didn’t evacuate …. ( with a baby ! ) and got killed…that is a sensely act by the people themselves..extremely sad..but kind of dumb and irresponsible… That poor man has to live with that decision all his life. God help him

    • antonio ujueta says:

No there was help given to those in need many of them transported to shelters in buses provided by FEMA

  13. Andrew Paredes says:

Dont understand why anyone would stay…i know people cant afford to leave but is the life of you and your family really worth it…there are many people and organizations that were willing to pay and help any family leave…but so many people are willing to risk the lives of people that have to rescue them….i pray for everyone out there…but my respect and prayer go to the people that are forced to rescue the people that decided to stay.

  14. wendy song says:

These rescuers are risking their lives trying to save those who were given warnings in advanced to leave. 😑

Paulo – Living an UNHEALTHY lifestyle is a proven way to get sick and yet so many people would still eat so many FATTY FOODS and BINGE DRINK and NOT EXERCISE. Should these people also get scolded whenever they get a heart attack or liver disease?

    • que en says:

Paulo – So many reasons for not evacuating like not wanting to leave the pets behind, scared of burglary, medical reasons, etc. Like some people literally have severe PTSD or severe BIPOLAR or severe ANXIETY around other people and they wouldn’t be able to move or sleep around strangers. You’re calling these people dumb for struggling with themselves. Like they intentionally asked God to give them psychological problems. I literally just had a full argument with another person because he said that it’s a waste of money to rescue these people. Like it would take BILLIONS to rescue a couple of people that are stuck in the hurricane. I mean DUH! I can give you so much more reasons that people do that affects the economy and the society in general!

“Government expenditures on births resulting from unintended pregnancies nationwide totaled $12.5 billion in 2008.”

      https://www.guttmacher.org/sites/default/files/pdfs/pubs/public-costs-of-UP.pdf

“Churches don’t pay property taxes on their land or buildings. When they
buy stuff, they don’t pay sales taxes. When they sell stuff at a profit, they don’t pay capital gains tax. If they spend less than they take in, they don’t pay corporate income taxes. Priests, ministers, rabbis and the like get “parsonage exemptions” that let them deduct mortgage payments, rent and other living expenses when they’re doing their income taxes. They also are the only group allowed to opt out of Social Security taxes (and benefits).”

“Cragun et al estimate the total subsidy at $71 billion. That’s almost certainly a lowball, as they didn’t estimate the cost of a number of subsidies, like local income and property tax exemptions, the sales tax exemption, and — most importantly — the charitable deduction for religious given. Their estimate that religious groups own $600 billion in property is also probably low, since it leaves out property besides actual churches, mosques, etc.”

“The charitable deduction for all groups cost about $39 billion this year, according to the CBO, and given that 32 percent of those donations are to religious groups, getting rid of it just for them would raise about $12.5 billion. Add that in and you get a religious subsidy of about $83.5 billion.”

People can’t support taking care of family whilst evac every year

  19. Erte 27 says:

Your order to leave and decide to stay .now you put other peoples lives at risk
    evacuation centers don’t charge

    • strawberry biscuit says:

Some people don’t have the resources to leave

    • Howard James says:

But they have resources to buy a house, pay taxes on it, pay bills, food, Wifi , netflix and maybe a new smart phone. But cant save up for a emergency fund? When i was 22 I already had 10k saved for an emergency. I worked 60+ hours a week to save and buy all the things i wanted and i didnt live with my parents in case youre wondering.

  20. Cristina Escandon says:

They were told to leave, they weren’t trapped, they put themselves in harm’s way, and not only them but the rescue workers as well!!

    • Carol G says:

Cristina Escandon Exactly! I feel sorry for the little kids & the animals that didn’t evacuate in time. I can’t believe ppl would stay knowing what a risk it is.

    • Ashley Wilkes says:

It’s cost money to leave my family is in High Point NC. You can’t travel for free plus they don’t have a car

    • kelly minid2 says:

People are human. They make mistakes. And other people (not you) want to save lives, not criticize mistakes. People in this country used to say “There but for the grace of God go I” Now a lot of people want to blame before helping.
But helping even imperfect people is much more rewarding. Try it sometime.
