Real Doctor Reacts to THE GOOD DOCTOR #2 | Medical Drama Review | Doctor Mike

The good doctor is becoming my favorite show on TV let alone my favorite medical drama. I really have come to appreciate the writing/humor of the show.

I think it is so important to be able to not only create a show that is interesting but also keeping it medically accurate and give a great example of how one with autism can strive to new heights.

If we can get this video up to 100,000 likes I can use that to try and get Freddie Highmore to do a review with us so smash that like button!!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode of Real Doctor Watches The Good Doctor / Real Doctor Reacts to The Good Doctor . If you want me to continue making this doctor reaction video please give it a like and leave me a comment on which tv drama or show you’d like for me to review next. Love you all!

Dr. Mike, I can’t remember which episode, but I know there was one episode of the Good Doctor where they opened up a liver on a car hood in the middle of traffic. You should definately watch that one. Completely unrealistic, and not sterile AT ALL, but absolutely hilarious!

NO NO NO! You NEED to watch all of the first season to understand the second season! Like this so he can see!

I love this series!! As a handi-capable person myself. I was moved by episode 7 “22 Steps” because people assume if you’re disabled you have a bond with similar people with disabilities. This not the case, however. We are different, we have different quirks / different coping mechanisms.

Why not some IZombie for Halloween? lol Even though it’s more about the detective side- the medical parts would be interesting to see/hear your reactions.

Dr Mike – I have not seen the episode. I just found it funny that you asked why a patient with an ear infection was admitted and being treated by the surgical team. That was me at one point. 😂

I had antibiotics resistant pseudomonas is my right ear causing almost constant infections for a year and a half. It became resistant to even IV antibiotics.

The problem was caused by fluid not draining due to a deformity left after an ear surgery I had as a child to remove a cholestotoma.

It was fine until I hit my 30s. After everything else failed, it was decided that I needed reconstruction of the inner ear to eliminate the area where the fluid was getting trapped. I was admitted because my asthma put me at high risk and the surgeon wanted by breathing monitored for 24 hours. 🙂

I think episodes 6 and 8 of season 1 are pretty interesting, and would like to hear your comments about them.

Episode 6 is about the treatment choice of the patient’s fiancee vs the treatment choice of the patient’s parents and episode 8 is about how a doctor cannot choose who they want and don’t want to treat

  16. Patrick Griffin says:

Watch the episode where Shawn operates on another kid who has autism

  17. Peyton Lenderman says:

You should DEFINITELY watch the Grey’s Anatomy episode where Dr. Shepherd dies…it focuses on medical error and it’s really interesting
