You could almost feel sorry for CBS/Paramount. This and Transformers are
their only big franchises. I say almost because look at the way they’re
treating the makers of the Star Trek movies and Trekkers.

  3. Batinthebelfry7 says:

I love the Ring and Ringu so I was fairly excited to see the franchise
start up again but this trailer is….not so great. Hopefully the trailer
doesn’t do the film justice, but I’m not letting my hopes get too high. Too
bad the horror genre is struggling so much these days.

I can’t wait for it to get delayed again!

  7. Deer Astronaut says:

So…this isn’t canon to the first two ring movies right?

  8. GMAN's Movie Zone says:

This kind of looks like shit. The first film was intelligent and
atmospheric, and didn’t rely on horror cliches for it’s scares. This just
looks so over the top and generic.

  9. Dazhon Hunt says:

I wonder if the boy called her cell phone n she didnt pick up, would he
    have texted her?

  10. CritiquingCricket says:

Sorry but I don’t see how this trailer is full of spoilers. A lot that they
reveal is stuff we already know from the other movies. The whole rebirth
thing is the only element revealed that makes this look unique. There has
to be plenty that they aren’t showing, otherwise this would just be a
regurgitation of the first two movies.

  11. jack brechtel says:

I already knows what happens. This is obviously a copy of the first movie,
but with different actor and actresses.

  12. Onika Shiba says:

This looks good, but knowing how most remakes end up,Im not holding much
    faith .
Plus isnt one remake enough – _ -

This doesn’t look good. And this whispering is more funny than scary..

is it just me or is it the girl saying Sunday in the background fucking

  15. John says:

I’ll say it again. The Conjuring and Sinister are the 2 of the best horror
films to from the past few years.

  16. Twiggy Morris says:

This has to do with viral videos, right?
Why not just make the trailer the video from the film with a couple added
clips? Would have been a whole lot scarier than this…

  17. Aidan Isaac says:

Youd think they would stop watching the video but no

  20. CoolDrify says:

Is this a thing now where they make horror sequels titles just plural
    versions of the original?
