Sisters – The Farce Awakens (HD)

In Theaters December 18

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunite for SISTERS, a new film from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore about two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need. Fey produces the comedy alongside Jay Roach (Meet the Parents series), and Poehler executive produces from a script by Paula Pell (TV’s Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock). Golden Globes.

i want to see them both now.

  2. Trent Taylor says:

I think we’ve reached true meta level. A comedy is parodying a Comic-con
crowd focused behind-the-scenes trailer for their movie. I don’t even. I
    squeed a little.

When everyone’s busy seeing Star Wars, I’ll be watching this gem in a
    theater all to my self!

  4. Johnny McHone says:

They nerds are upset that they spelled “force” wrong.

  5. Ghost says:

Wars are you even shitting me, lol.

seeing this because it looks like shit.

What a strange idea for a movie and a promo. Not interesting at all. Fey is
way better than this. Poehler leaves me unimpressed.

  12. Patricia Silvas says:

to funny… gonna see them both…. just not on the same weekend

  13. SimPurist says:

The only movie that will tank that weekend will be Alvin and the Chipmunks
since that’s also trying to get the kids and family audience as Force

Sisters is good counterprogramming (with the adult humor and female target
audience) and probably costs 1/10th of Star Wars, so it could makes a
decent profit like Spy did earlier this year.

  14. Lokim23 says:

fox news insults star wars fans… I think alot of things/people see star
war fans as jokes… and you know, thats fine. Cause jokes on you. Without
the nerds… you wouldn’t have those sex toys to shove up your ass while
tweeting on your mobile device you have something shoved up your ass.

  17. glossymilk says:

when tina fey and amy poehler were together doing those british accents it
reminded me of an older rose and rosie

  18. Karen Hart says:

Of course everyone is going to see Star Wars, why are people even fighting
about this? 30 years of fanatics are proof of that! As much as I live Tina
Fey and Amy Poheler I can’t see them both… cause I’m poor, but if I could
    I totally would!

  19. The Slick Android says:

Wait, this is coming out on the same DAY as Star Wars?! I hate to say it,
but they are fucked. Even Kung Fu Panda 3 had to delay it’s release because
    of Star Wars.
