You know, when I first heard about this, I was nervous. Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy can turn a different direction instantly. But this wasn’t bad.

    And, oh yeah..

*Why did Jimmy have to cover “Let’s Go Crazy” like that at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade?*

    • Loves Life and Laughs says:

because he is a fan like a regular person! oh and Prince actually knew him personally…you don’t invite someone you don’t like to your own Ping pong club to play against you! besides that, the roots are big Prince fans too, especially Questlove! get over it

    • Emanuel Rice says:

Loves Life and Laughs At least he tried okay. There’s worse tributes out there. Plus, I knew all of that since I watched that episode he mentioned it (post-Prince’ death).

Remember the Bee Movie… what a great film -_-

  11. KAT says:

I haven’t watched the video yet. But knowing my opinion of both Jimmy and Jerry’s stand-up acts, I’m going to guess this is super corny and lame.

  12. Homer Simpson says:

    This was beeutiful.

  13. VanRocCarMor says:

Brilliant. That’s all I can say.

  14. melsoloh says:

Don’t get me wrong – I love Jimmy, he’s just not right for a talk show host. He’s very funny, super talented, and so much fun, he just is too awkward around celebrities and his fake laughs are just cringeworthy. Even Jerry had to say something @ 7:47

    I’m just saying

4:10 Jerry has a hole in his neck 8 0

  16. Tingis Pingis says:

this was so fucking scripted it fucking hurt.

    • Nick Capone says:

Tingis Pingis the only thing scripted was the routines?? And if you didn’t realize that you must be retarded

    • Skelly says:

Tingis Pingis I take off my hat and offer you thanks, Captain Obvious. What other revelatory tidbits do you have for us? Water is so fucking wet?

  17. Ashkan Banisepehr says:

I know Jerry is a very popular comedian and i don’t want to offend him or his fans in any way. But i just don’t know what’s funny about a man talking about ordinary and everyday stuff in a casual way. I don’t laugh when i watch his sit-com either. Maybe it’s because of the age gap. I’m 18. Can someone explain what’s so brilliant about his material?

    • Black Panther says:

Ashkan Banisepehr I never found him funny either. I understand what you mean.

    • Qniba Chaos says:

It was funny at the time as it was new yet has dated very quickly. Seinfeld was the major comedy pre Friends and the reason he himself took it off is because he knew it would die, so he killed it first. He is unfunny, only America could make him millions.

    • Lunatick666 says:

its comedy based on every day life events. something that is hard to get by these days. the world changed and is 10 times faster then when his show was on. Seinfeld himself said that making his show today would be impossible because theres no more reason to do the stuff they did. you can google everything in stead of being awekward around strange people. I loved his show. and often find myself in some situations where I remember bits of his show or stand-up and just start laughing. Im 42 by the way. Also Jerry never swears in his comedy and most people nowadays need words like “fuck” and “nigga” to put a smile on their face. I happen to like both.

    • Acbbb says:

The show is holding up very well. New sitcoms are reusing bits and pieces of it all the time.

  18. Jennifer Bureau says:

Jerry is a perfect example, in my opinion, of how fame can turn someone into a complete asshole. Once his show became as huge as it did, it really seemed to go to his head. He went from being funny, as he toured with his stand-up, to being full of himself and thinking he was the only funny person in the world. His little digs at Jimmy’s show in this bit, or his reaction to Kesha on the red carpet not long ago, are just a few examples of it but there are so many others. It’s a shame really. I cringe when I see him interviewed these days but used to be such a fan.

    • Skelly says:

Jennifer Bureau His reaction to Kesha? Oh ok, Seinfeld’s totally obligated to hug a total stranger just because she wanted him to and especially when she interrupted his interview. If his refusal is all it takes for you to no longer be a fan, I’d say you never really were in the first place.

    • Jennifer Bureau says:

First, I very clearly stated that was one example of many that I could think of. Never did I say that one single thing is all it took for me to no longer be a fan. If you are going to pick apart my opinion, take it for the broad context provided. Secondly, I never said he was obligated to do anything. It was the way he handled the situation that I felt was disrespectful.

    • Thinkb4utype says:

That’s part of what is funny about him, though. His open condescension for Hollywood, fame, and the sycophantic people who surround his life. If you have never seen his speech “All awards are stupid” on YouTube, you really need to check it out.

  19. Oswaldo Tortoledo says:

Man, people are such assholes. I just watched the video and i just stare at these comments critizicing jimmy for his hosting abilities and jerrys stand-up abilities. These 2 are brilliant comedians and just cool dudes. And btw this is material recollected from decades of jerrys career. Material that has been adecuate for the time it was told. And yeah jimmy can be awkward sometimes but the dude is one of the most talented celebrities ive ever seen.

I dont usually comment but some people need to get a life lol
