We’re also given a time limit of 41 hours via Peridot. That’s not enough time to get to earth from Homeworld (assuming the diamonds are all there and not off doing their own work)

Unfortunately I don’t think Cartoon Network thinks it has enough widespread appeal to be a full feature movie. Plus teen titans go to the movies didn’t do that great at the box office so I don’t think they want to risk it.
