NOTE! I mentioned this CLS450 has a V6, but it’s actually a straight six. My mistake!

My VW Golf has the trunk handle under the flip up VW badge, as well as the reversing camera. One-upped your merc, lol

    2:53 Doug, you missed the six lines next to the “6 cylinders” / / / / / /
One line for every Cylinder !! Lol

  8. Backseat Bomb says:

So the cls competes with the 6 series gran touring and the a7 and the amg gt will compete with the panamera and the 8 series gran coupe! That’s the purpose of the amg gt

    • Backseat Bomb says:

+Sahd Qasim except the gt which is the one that competes with these

    • K Clark says:

The GT 4 door coupe is a competitor to the Panamera….CLS/A7/8 Gran Coupe are sort of separate subsection of entry level luxo 4 door coupe.. Difference is GT 4 door Coupe is a more performance oriented, designed by AMG. Of course S7/RS7 and M version of the 8 Gran Coupe will make their own run at the Porsche.

    • Backseat Bomb says:

+K Clark ya but like I said the 8 will takeover the 6 coupe but the 6 gt still competes with the a7 and cls but the 8 gran coupe is gonna be an m car to begin with then be even more m- ified( like mb amg gt has amg in the name and its and amg car but still has an gt63 model) and will compete with amg gt and panamera(

    • K Clark says:

+Backseat Bomb I had not heard that the Gran Coupe will be an M only. That seems like a serious oversight, if true. Not everyone wants M performance and that design can look good in normal BMW skin. Maybe they are starting with the M version first and working backward. If not, “Bad BMW!”

    • Backseat Bomb says:

+K Clark it will be still a BMW just given m build and getting a m engine that sounds m because if you know the even no.s are sporty af, like the 4 series base isnt an m car but still get more equipment for m things nd just seems sportier

  9. Pedro Valente says:

I never understood that 4 doors coupe thing.. . I mean is it a 4 doors or a coupe? It can’t be both.. I think that Mercedes is having an identity crisis.

Edit: thanks everyone, i thought a coupe was only a 2 doors car.. How wrong was i. Now i know the real reason thank you for letting me know and not calling me stupid in the process.

My ancient Blackberry phone has a track-pad identical to those on the Mercedes’ steering wheel. What a modern feature! 😉

    • CalQaida says:

+Eric Hamm I guess you lack reading comprehension. My first comment was about how ugly this car is. Then Madara Uchinha dummy took the conversation in another direction. So I replied to his comment. Who said anything about an iPhone? We didn’t need your two cents in this dum dum. Thank you. Now sit your ass down.

    • KilimitiFrriuuu says:

+CalQaida You really hate this car don’t you? Cause you were in other comments bitching about it as well. We get it, you don’t have to buy it. Although I’m pretty sure you couldn’t afford it even if you wanted to. The track-pad is now in a Freaking Steering Wheel. Blackberry was a technological company, Mercedes is a Car company. Get this through your thick skull and stop moaning about how ugly this car is, cause it definitely isn’t!

    • Eventus Vantos says:

+CalQaida lmao you are such a toxic hater.

Looks are subjective. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Nitpicking a single aspect like that and then back tracking to the design shows just how pathetically triggered and desperate you are to hate on this car. Lmao what happened did a cls run over someone you love?

    • K Clark says:

Caleb S So what you’re saying is that this feature is common in the automotive industry? Because if you’re not saying that, then your statement is a moot point.

    • A real petrol-head says:

CalQaida You’ve no taste at all. You’re so disrespectful, calling this car ugly means you’ve no taste at all. I’m not gonna respect your opinion, because I don’t care about your shitty opinions. I hope I’ll never meet people like you. If you hate this car, then you hate all cars. I like the CLS.

Saying “same tech in a 80,000 dollar car in 2019 is a joke” is like people having children in 2019 is a joke. You also want people to stop having children? You obviously hate children, as men like you always do. You should NEVER have children at all. You’re also very stupid and you deserve to die!!!

Douglas my sweet, sweet silly little boy, as a luminescence & electrical housing engineering expert, I can assure you that is not taillight glitter as you stated with the utmost intrepidity. No, my good lad, that there is a very new electro-luminescent lamination procedure known within the industry as “phospho-refractory bifurcated & correlated emitting diodes.” Yes, the German automakers have recently become quite smitten those dastardly little dancers with desire. A rising star in the field of LED display engineering, a Mr. Kaärl Vanderscheitz patented the technology in his East Munich workshop in the sweltering heat of late July, in the year of our Lord 2016. The design which followed serves both functional and aesthetic purposes first and foremost in a European market with more lax lighting regulations than here in the US of A, but has caught on like wildfire in the States as well. The technology serves to both refract and magnify both the incoming and the outgoing electromagnetic frequencies which LED lighting puts out, and thus the design allows for a redoubling and a solution for the natural polarization issues intrinsic with today’s LEDs. No my dearest Douglas, young Mr. Vanderscheitz as he’s known in the neo-masochistic circles in which he runs, has blessed us with an emerging technology that will not only work to revolutionize the ways in which we absorb nature’s wondrous spectrum of light, but will also enhance the safety of the fine men and women who proudly decry themselves automotive drivers. Goodnight…and good luck.
