We are passionate about seeing children released from poverty and we would love you to consider sponsoring a child with Compassion. We visited our sponsor children in the Philippines and were blown away by the difference that child sponsorship can make. What’s the 44 Club you may ask? Well it all started in the outro of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyLPMhp7qbs where we wondered if anyone was still watching the video at that point, and to comment 44 (Scott’s fave number) if they were. Brett then said 44 Club get on board and the rest is history. The 44Club is the official How Ridiculous fan club made up of people who love our videos and watch them right to the very end. We’ve even got 44 Club merch now! So yeh, that’s the story. Pretty random but good fun at the same time.

A big thanks to the awesome crew at the Gravity Discovery Centre in Gingin for letting us use their 45m leaning tower for our own experiments. If you wanna head out there and check it out, it’s not far from Perth. Western Australia: http://gravitycentre.com.au/leaning-tower/

26:55min. or there about, each man has 62.5 lbs (yes I’m in the U.S.) as a Firefighter with full turnout gear w/SCBA I have 75 lbs I’m humping, now I can walk a flight with all that in 10 sec. for the first few flights after that it starts to come down by in time, by the time I’m at the tenth FL. you can put the time at 15 sec. per FL but I’m not in my prime anymore at 48yo but hold my own.. now 4 of you in your prime w/ fridge walking backwards, which i do w/a gurney so some knowledge of that also, anyhow I put WAY TO MUCH THOUGHT in this and will be off like hell most likely but had fun burning up the brain on this. now the #’s say 25:00min.rounding to nearest, I’m giving you guys just short break’s here…. i.e. 26:55min hope you had fun with this. ; ) if you stopped for to rest for longer well 40:min. hahaha

Now what you guys should do is get a bunch of pallets, hang them like diagonally outside of the 45 m tower and drop a dart off and try to bullseye or just you know do something of the sorts

IDEA FOR ANVIL DROP…… Set up a dinner table with a tablecloth, dishes, glasses, saucers, cups, a wine bottle, utensils, and maybe even food. However leave the end of the tablecloth hanging off the edge and being supported by wooden poles so the tablecloth is held horizontally. Drop the anvil on the extended tablecloth. If all goes right, the anvil will hit the tablecloth, not the table, and pull the tablecloth out quickly from underneath the dishes, cups etc. It’ll be like a magic trick as all the glassware, utensils, etc. stays put. You may have to use more than one tablecloth, or possibly even glue mire than one together so they are strong enough to be pulled, and so the anvil doesn’t go straight through the cloth. I think it’d he an awesome video and trick to boot.

Its funny that Nick took one side of the fridge while Derek AND Brett took the other side. #44club

    • Svish85 says:

Think fridges are usually heavier at the bottom and they were “underneath” on the way up… besides… how else would they do it? one crawling under the middle?

    Q) What do you do for a living?
    A) uhm, you know, just drop things off a 45M tower!

microwave must be plugged in !!! 👍

    • Lod dude says:

      A running genny alongside it?

    • ManKetnas says:

Lod dude no a long cable 🔌
running washing machine would be also cool

    • Lod dude says:

Cables are dodgy – ‘flailing hose pipe full of angry pixies’ etc. But how much ‘custom padding’ would be needed for a genny to survive the drop AND carry on running?
(‘Catch-a-screaming-chain-saw’ would sound good on the way down; but the catch, oh man the catch : )
