      Also get a bucket or container deep enough to put the handle in from base to end instead of on its side

    This should be the right order for hydro dipping: primer>white>texture>clear coat, and also, you’re supposed to dip it at an angle, or by slowly rotating it while lowering it in the water, so you cover more surface area.

    I think the ” clear coat” was supposed to be applied after the hydrodip. Shaking the object underwater probably didn’t help either.

    You should do high gloss at the end. 1st – primer
    2nd – activator and dip
    3rd – high gloss (top coat) to lock the colour in place
