Alright this was one of the craziest moments of my life so far lol I went in to this with 0 acting experience. I wanted to poke fun at myself and just be obnoxious so I was like “well I’ll just improv all my parts then cuz that will feel natural” 😂 so that’s what I did. Slightly nerve racking once cameras started rolling lmao. Just wanted to do something challenging for the f*** of it. I’m grateful for Tiffany Haddish just being down to do this and being such a professional all day and having the best energy you could ask for. @Chris Marshall We all love Russ and his come up but he was signed to Columbia and dropped 3 albums with them. Best on Earth was on the album Shake the Snow Globe which was the last album he did with Columbia. What they want and Losing control his two biggest songs was on his first album which was released through Columbia. His deal which he spoke about in an interview was that when he recouped what the label spent on him they would split the profit 50/50 which is an amazing deal. This is all facts.

Because Russ is an independent artist he has to work songs longer.
I think he has realized that his next mainstream hit is “Handsomer.” His last one was “Best On Earth.” The key word is mainstream tho. He drops amazing hit quality songs on the regular but if we wants to be the biggest artist in the world, (which he has said in multiple interviews) he needs to promote his songs longer. Dropping this music video with a huge star right as the hype is dying is brilliant. It will extend the longevity of the single and tiffany’s appearance will get him posted on blogs (like the shade room etc).
