profoundly different. SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.

@ultraviolent maybe Olivia Colman for The Lost daughter

    • Gunnar Eðvarðsson says:

@ultraviolent De Armas movie was originally supposed to come out in 2020 and now pushed back despite the fact it will be on streaming. Something tells me the movie is a disaster.

    • Luke Dias says:

@Dev Daneo Requiem for a Dream was NC-17 and Ellen Burstyn still got nominated for it.

    • Will C says:

@Luke Dias It was gonna be rated NC-17 but Artisan released it unrated so that it could play in a few more theaters than it would have been allowed to had it kept the NC-17.

coming for the Oscar. get real.

  2. AJ F. says:

I’m freaking out. This is officially my most anticipated of the rest of the year.

  3. Arbaaz Shroff says:

My God KRISTEN STEWART! What a stunning teaser!

  4. Pedro Augusto do Amaral says:

Can’t wait to see it. But at the same time I’m afraid of the comparison between this movie and The Crown, in which Diana’s portrait was so amazingly good.

    • Amber Hayes says:

You literally already just compared it!

    • Luke Dias says:

Considering the Emmys will have come and gone, there will be enough time for Emma Corrin’s performance to die down a bit, even if she wins.

    • Aegon the Conqueror says:

Enough of these Crown and Corrin girl comparison.

    • Pedro Augusto do Amaral says:

@Amber Hayes not really. I said that Emma Corrin’s performance was great, and that eventually people will compare and I don’t like when that kind of thing happens. But I didn’t compare the performances, especially because it would be impossible to do it without watching the movie.

  5. Logos di'Cosmos says:

She’s pulled that off quite well. Body language and mannerisms, even Diana’s looks.

  6. Saif Mahmud Ishtiak Shushaan says:

The visuals are exactly are like the director’s previous movie Jackie. Man’s got style.

    • KEENG LOUIE says:

@Jason Montague you are right. once I saw who it was from I say, “oh no, here we go” and it’s a bunch of walking around in fields and centered shots, same film texture and everything. I hope this isn’t a flop. People who say Jackie is a good movie need mental help because that movie didn’t even make a big splash at awards and yes I know Natalie Portman was nominated for an Oscar

    • Cameron Kanachki says:

@Jason Montague Don’t compare melodramatic garbage like I Am Sam to an exquisite masterwork like Jackie. And FWIW, I Am Sam got negative reviews while Jackie was very positively received.

    • Jason Montague says:

@KEENG LOUIE Absolutely! And I don’t know why! Her portrayal was so obnoxious. I didn’t see Jackie in her AT ALL! Not for a moment!

  7. Erik Danielson says:

This seems exactly like what I hoped it would be: a companion piece to Larraín’s last film, 2016’s Jackie. An introspective character study about an iconic 20th Century woman. Stewart looks amazing

  8. Tooty Futts says:

    “They don’t.”

Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstopping, spectacular, never the same…

  9. TheLadySilverMoon says:

You know back when everybody was going crazy over the Twilight saga, if someone had told me that in the future Robert Pattinson would play Batman and Kristen Stewart would play Princess Diana, I would think that was a bad joke. Amazing how far we’ve come.

  10. Amelie Mews says:

Both Dianas (from The Crown and Spencer) look so on point in their own way, and both have a great production. 🏆 🏆
    This looks AMAZING.
