What’s the best TV series of all time? Thumbs up if Better Call Saul is one of you top picks.
You need to see Mr Show to see the true genius that is Bob Odenkirk
I still have not watched it. I get intimidated by hype on TV shows. I don’t want to be disappointed.
Better call Saul
I think it would be cool if you had a long, kinda cut edition as well. would be good to see more of the conversations between the questions
@mrbejam The idea is you need to provide examples that are better, not just IMO us to death. And many long term viewers (me, back to the late 60;s) *would* but BCS/BB in the top 10 easily.
Bob: yeah I’m not really a hot sauce guy
Also Bob: proceeds to crush every single wing and give clear, coherent answers
“I said I’m not really a hot sauce guy. Didn’t say I couldn’t stand the heat.”
-Bob Odenkirk, soon to star in a remake of ‘Quigley Down Under’
@Freighter 109 Well on average, those that like spice like eating hot sauce, and those that can’t handle spice hate it.
Sometime, you can act like you ate the hot sauce
It’s because of his depression
Sometimes it’s not about the immediate mouth pain, but the later aftermath. I love spicy food but if I don’t take my heartburn med I’ll regret it so much
Bob is such an underrated actor, he should have won more awards with Better Call Saul. I’m glad he got a hot ones ep, now get Brendan Fraser! 🙏
@Tony Dogs mfw someone gains a little bit of weight over 24 years
@iamthagreatone He’s gained a lot of weight since he was in The Mummy.
@Tony Dogs bro saw one clip from the whale
@Tony Dogs You do realize that he’s not actually obese, right?
Brendan Fraser would be such an amazing guest for hot ones!!! EVERYONE MANIFEST IT SO IT CAN BE REAL !!!!
Bob Odenkirk at the beginning really was giving vibes that he didn’t want to be there doing a gimmicky interview and had really low expectations. But, Sean’s ability to ask thought-provoking questions and keep guests entertained is AMAZING! By the end you could tell Bob was genuinely enjoying himself. Keep it up Hot Ones!!!
There’s clearly a difference in an actor that goes on that is a fan of Hot Ones and one thats not. Looks like Bob wasn’t a fan at first and opened up as the heat increased.
Yea, he’s an actor what he does is act. If he didn’t want to be there he wouldn’t have put himself there. That is Mr Odenkirk’s “humor.”
No, its because at the start of the interview its just a regular interview, then they start eating super spicy food, and then things become more exciting.
Exactly. It reminded me of the Bill Burr episode, very similar.
2 minutes in was going to switch off until i read this
Sean does an incredible job of (pleasantly) surprising his A-list guests. He catches them off guard and gets them to open up and share parts of themselves we don’t often get to see. His skills as an interviewer are why we keep coming back, but he keeps it all cleverly hidden behind the spicy-wing-eating challenge and the heavyweight guest list. Hats off to you, First We Feast!
Sean is legit
The way I see this show is exactly how Borat or Nathan Fielder operate, he lures them in with a bait and switch in a reverse prank format, and they are thoroughly entertained in the end.
Sean is probably the best interviewer of celebrity’s I’ve ever witnessed. He is amazing , well thought out and thoughtful questions . And he and his team do their research perfectly. Everyone that’s been on the show has always enjoyed him and complimenting his questions.
Tommy Tiernan on Irish tv is also worth a look
Narduar as well
Bob writing poetry with his little kids and publishing them with his grown kids is just the sweetest thing. Gold medal for this dad.
HOW DOES EACH EPISODE KEEP GETTING BETTER?? OH MY GOODNESS
It’s just Hit-Hit-HIT-HIT-HIT-Combo-Combo-Combo-Combo-Combo-Combo-Combo-COMBO!-COMBO!!-COMBO!!!-COMBO!!!!-COMBO!!!!!-
Because the’ve called Saul, that’s why it’s better
Are you high? Look at the contrast from the first season till now. It got a thousand times worse
Bob being so proud of the book is the best thing I’ve seen all week, we need more people like him
Bob is an absolute legend. Even with his recent fame, he STILL is underrated!
