Was not even expect this as a possibility. Cannot wait to see what direction the devs go with a sequel to such an amazing game. I know they won’t disappoint.

@Sam Bolstridge “I was hoping for a different Supergiant world to explore, rather than “Hades but girl””
Do you have any info on the storyline of the game or the character interactions? if not, how can you make this claim?

    • Magical Girl says:

@Sam Bolstridge but yeah if they did an hades III without create other game between i will be disapointed

    • Magical Girl says:

@Sam Bolstridge it’s the first time they did a sequel and it’s not like the universe didn’t give desire to continu telling story in… soo for now we don’t know if this game will be better or quite the same than first opus don’t be disappointed so early

    • Sam Bolstridge says:

@CyberneticSquid It’s OK if you don’t know what toxic positivity is. It’s when nobody dares disagree or call out something about something that is very popular because they know that people will disagree with them and it’s easier to just think and say what everyone else is saying.
This leads to a general lowering of the bar for quality as people are no longer demanding the best, they are just circlejerking in an echo chamber of fake positivity because they are scared of rejection and desperate to fit in.
It’s also detrimental to mental health as people may privately be troubled about something or see that something isn’t as good as everyone is making out but doesn’t dare to say anything to disrupt the fanboy positivity and so bottles it up inside and is left feeling isolated and alone.

    • Sam Bolstridge says:

@creature Was I wrong? Just got called homophobic out of nowhere. Anyway I wasn’t talking about future responses, I was talking about this entire comment section being a supergiant circlejerk. Gameplay of first one got very mashey and repetitive, I hope this is completely different but we can already see that it isn’t. Shame we don’t get something completely different is all. How is this even controversial to say? The state off weird positivity on the internet these days. It’s OK if someone has a different opinion. I didn’t hurt you. I’m not telling anyone to get over anything or making personal attacks, so fucking cringe.

I couldn’t stop geeking about the firt game ever since I played it for the firt time. I wanted a DLC of sorts but this, this is sooooo much better! The music, the characters, the lore, the care with which original source was treated. Soooo good! I cannot wait to get into this ASAP

  3. Veeya says:

I absolutely love the part where she sweeps her hair kinda like how Zagreus does in the last animation. Hope we get one with Macaria where she flips her hair or smth.

Recognizing the same stunning art, music, and voice acting fills me with a ton of excitement! Can’t wait to be engrossed by the storytelling Supergiant has in store for us

  5. N7Sorcerer says:

Thank you so much for this, Supergiant! The first Hades is easily one of my all-time favorite games! I plan to play the heck out of this! Also, GENIUS idea using Chronos as the villain! I’m guessing the rogue-like element of the story comes from him rewinding time or something similar? That would be crazy and fantastic!

  6. Gloomyberry says:

I still remember the first time I saw the animated trailer of Hades. It was glorious and refreshing. I’m glad to see that the love for the game it’s still strong to move them to make a sequel; the underworld is so beautiful as it own that I can’t way to see more of it.

  7. Leevi_Barbosa says:

Vocês não conseguem imaginar o quanto eu tô vibrando aqui! Eu estava jogando Hades justamente hoje e acabo de receber essa maravilhosa notícia!
    YEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Jacopo Pomente says:

Loved the first one. Amazing characters, fantastic rogue-like experience and an incredible voice acting. No way i’m gonna lose this

  9. Jorelle Cruz says:

Out of everything that was revealed and announced. This got me hyped the most! Gave me chills and goosebumps!!! You guys are amazing!

  10. HereForTheShrimp says:

After what has genuinely been one of the worst years of my life, seeing this actually makes me cry a little. I have NEVER loved a game as much as I loved the first one – Supergiant could literally have this only be a fourth as good and I’d still be thrilled!!!!
