“you’re my captain from now until the end” damn this line hits different, Zoro’s loyalty to Luffy is one of the best ones in anime history 😭

I won’t lie…this looks very promising. One piece was the last anime I would see actually fit a live action setting but for some reason this is looking more and more likely to be actually good. The cast the setting looks honestly promising (even though Arlong and shanks kinda look weird to me) I’m really looking forward to this

Lol. You all fall for this every single time and then it ends up being dogshit like death note and the cowboy bebop live action series. Time is really a flat circle

    • Kelly Johnson says:

@hameedbruh you’ve obviously been living under a rock if you really think this will be on the same level as Death Note or Cowboy Bebop. Oda has been directly involved in the production of this series, making sure it stays true to the source material while also making adjustments so that it translates well into a live action medium.

Shanks looks fine in my opinion. In fact, almost how I imagine he would look like IRL.

  3. Hotarubi says:

I’m honestly mentally, emotionally and physically prepared to once again witness their journey. I’m all in ❤️

  4. Saad's Requiem for Sasuke says:

Almost gave goosebumps with how many characters were shown and the amazing iconic scenes! Zoro’s words were soo badass, nami sounds almost exactly like her English anime voice, she looked stylish with glasses and 0:45 the luffy pirate flag was so cute and funny! Buggy chopped up saying his attack was Sooo good and intimidating!! Thats Buggy! Very excited!!!

  5. R R says:

the easter eggs, the settings, the fact that most of the cast’s wardrobe comes from manga covers… everything is just a testament to how thoughtfully planned this was and the care that was put into it. i’m extremely excited to watch this

    • Romeo Is My Real Name says:

Yes! That is my favorite part. It’s like watching maga covers and color walks in real life! 🥺

    • Furqan Hun says:

for many characters there’s a reason why they look or dress like that so oda wasnt gonna let them change that and i’ve heard the director’s passionate abt one piece too and one piece wardrobe and looks plays a part in manga and anime.

    • Tyler Zimmer says:

dear god you actually liked this crap?

    • pROvAK says:

This is a worse looking adaption than Disney live action remakes. Actual garbage

    • GOBEMA says:

@pROvAKcalm down. If the majority likes the trailer and you don’t, then the best thing to do would be to respect it and not watch it and that’s it

  6. Jessica Ruiz says:

Being a one piece fan for over a decade and finding so many Easter eggs in this trailer, I can see how much thought was put into every single detail. Absolutely love it❣️

  7. Aloo says:

Honestly looks great and buggy naming his attack didn’t even sound weird it sounded pretty good and natural

  8. Ahmad Azri says:

It seems like the production crew are huge fans as well, seeing how thoughtful every details being executed into the live adaptation

  9. thriftingtonpost says:

This looks way better than I feared it would – it actually looks like it’ll be a good show. I’m sold enough to at least give it a shot.

      Movie comes out and watches

      People “This movie was baaaaaaaad”

    • Bryan Moberg says:

yeah, i never expect much out of live action anime adaptations, but this has some promise, the actors in particular feel well suited to their characters, the effects aren’t great..the going merry’s figurehead looks insane, but I can ignore that if the show is fun.
