John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the SAW franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of SAW I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.

Tobin Bell’s voice never fails to send chills, its iconic and low-key scary 😳

  2. Squiws says:

This genuinely feels like the old Saw films, and I absolutely love it!

  3. Brian Sutherland says:

Tobin Bell is one of the best movie villains. His voice itself is enough to send chills 👌

    • Another Atheist says:

I don’t know, if John Kramer is a typical or traditional Antagonist. I‘m having hard times to classify him as that. Hoffman and Amanda were much more antagonistic, because they were pure murderers.

  4. Oliver Müller says:

From the cinematography, the style and writing, this feels right at home with the older films and I’m really liking that. Can’t wait to check this out whenever it arrives in theaters.

    • DJ Pyro Teknikz says:

      @oliver-muller-ter – September 29th; competing with “Paw
Patrol: The Mighty Movie” (also releasing on Sept. 29th). =)

  5. John Doe says:

Tobin is just the perfect actor to play the whole SAW trilogy. If he won’t be in it, I refuse to watch it. What an absolute legend he is. Can’t wait to watch this!

  6. R Rol says:

Tobin Bell is 80 years old but still playing this character perfectly, what a legend.

    • Sascha Herrmann says:

To be fair. It’s not that hard to play that paperthin character…

    • David Fairweather says:

@Sascha HerrmannYes it’s an easy task to portray arguably the most iconic and well known horror villain of all time… 😂😂

    • Sascha Herrmann says:

@David Fairweather most iconic of all time?! Are you nuts? Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, Jason… etc.

      Most iconic….🤣🤣🤣

    • Fundido a negro says:

@Sascha Herrmann because playing Myers and Jason are also a challenge XD

    • David Fairweather says:

@Sascha Herrmann all of those are great examples, so is Jigsaw. Fail to see your point lol. The Saw franchise is one of the most known and most profitable horror franchises of all time grossing over 1 billion dollars. The “Halloween” horror franchise as you mentioned is a great example and grossed about 800-900 million in total. The idea that my claim is completely ludicrous to you is rather funny considering the Saw Franchise and the character of John Kramer are iconic af and could easily be considered at the top depending on your point of view.

  7. Lucky Dragon says:

“you all pretended to cure me, but what I have planned for each of you is VERY real” gave me chills

  8. Hans Hoffmann says:

The annual experiences provided by Saw 1-7 back in the day have always been some of my most beloved memories ever as a horror movie fan. This trailer alone captured every reason why I was such a fan of this story better than the entire 8th and 9th films. Here’s hoping it delivers.

    • RpTheHotrod says:

No joke! October Saw releases were always a guilty pleasure of mine.

    • Rowlaan Bennett says:

Listen I was just discussing this the other day! I was in High School During the Saw Series! And it was really like a TV series in a way! Each year you knew you were getting a Saw Film Good or Bad

    • Pedro Ítalo says:

Yeah! I liked jigsaw though, but spiral was pretty bad

    • APTheis says:

      “If it’s Halloween, it’s SAW”

They all may not have been top-tier films, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t exciting every year getting to the theatre to see another SAW movie.

    • Tony Stark • Unlimited says:

      @Pedro Ítalo
      How df was Spiral bad

  9. Oğuzhan Muyan says:

My all time favourite movie series. I’ve watched them over and over through the years. I will never bored what kind of films they make, seeing Tobin Bell and hearing his iconic voice give me goosebumps everytime. Happy 20th anniversary of Jigsaw. Let the game begin🎉

  10. Tom McMorrow says:

I’ve been eagerly waiting months to see a trailer for the upcoming Saw film and here it is! Looks absolutely fascinating and a return to the earlier style (before the plot went all soap opera-y). Good to see Tobin returning to the iconic role. I respect Spiral’s vision but it felt less like a Saw movie and more like a dream you’d have after watching a Saw marathon and a Chris Rock stand up while eating a plate of hot wings at a 4th of July barbecue.

    • WeeberDeeper says:

I did enjoy Chris Rocks performance though. Perhaps it was due to me not having high expectations for that movie. If all you want is the gore and the traps and mediocre performances, then Spiral was a great addition. I was impressed with Chris’ performance though, as i only see him as a comedian.

    • Getthe cansin says:

Spiral needs a followi up, I found it fresh

    • Respect2theFallen says:

Lmao that description. Ya the imitation voice(of “lets play a game” or whatever they used to copy without stealing it) killed me the whole movie sounded like a muppet character or some shit. It annoyed me like Sokka being called SOh-kuh in last airbender live action. Pretty predictable throughout and most traps were dry or seemed like copy cats of older ones. they needed better ideas.
