I honestly feel as if there is too much squeezed into one film personally. There is a potential that each part could be worse than what it could have been. Maybe I’m just wrong, hoping that I am. Idk if anybody else has the same impression.
The fact this will include a mario kart scene makes me insanely happy, and if they play some of the Mario Kart Wii track songs I’m gonna give this movie a 11/10

@The Runaway Kid nah crash bandicoot already has a cinematic feel with the story and cutscenes so a movie would be as underwhelming as a doctor who movie

I’m liking the fact that this doesn’t seem to just be a story vaguely inspired by the Mario universe, but actually directly incorporating aspects of games from Smash Bros to Mario Kart.

@Placeholder Man honestly those references( which we have seen the success of sonic 2 and references) will not hurt the movie at all. It will trigger nostalgia and with tongue and cheek references. This is a good ingredient for a sequel

After the disaster of the Bob Hoskins/John Leguizamo movie, I can understand why they were hesitant to pull the trigger on this for so long.

A 12 year old acting out imaginary scenes using Amiibos on the floor of his room is leagues ahead of the first movie, to be fair. But this still has me all aboard the hype train. 🙂

I actually liked that film probably because it was so weird and bad but to me still entertaining seeing how they would recreate things from the games I like how they did all the different characters- but to be fair this new film looks a lot better than I thought it would 😳😃😃
I have gone to the movie theater in over 7 years. This is the first time I feel motivated to go and watch a movie. I mean I looks THAT good. I am inviting my brothers and taking my kids too.

The animation is so impressive, I love how stylized they made all of the characters look and as well as the landscape, it’s gorgeous.
Jack Black is killing it as Bowser, I really wasn’t expecting him to have such a fitting voice for the character; truly seems more menacing than I’m used to.

Yeah he really is, if I didn’t know who was voicing bowser I wouldn’t think I would guess it’s Jack black – I have a feeling this film is gonna be something very very special…..

While I still do have an extreme amount of hope for this movie, I think the scene with Bowser and Luigi gives me the most hope, that scene was actually hilarious and Jack Black does a good Bowser, Charlie Days normal voice just fits Luigi for unexplainable reasons. Also the parts where I freaked out the most were the Mario Kart and Yoshi scenes, defenitely unexpected.
