That little brawl and seeing their manager get ejected gave the Astros the fuel they needed to win that game…

    • Jeremy Burton says:

What a game it takes over my fav Altuve moment of all time just after 2019 walk off vs Chapman. In the words of Josh Reddick woooooo! What a game

    • 디오 12 says:

also made the Rangers reliever get cold, boneheaded move by Garcia

    • John Hatter says:

@디오 12 I have always believed if you get hit after you pimp and Cadillac a home run, just go to first base and chalk it up.

    • J E says:

@John Hatterno way was that intentional! Not under those circumstances.

    • R.C. says:

Right after it happened I said to myself that Dusty intentionally got himself ejected to light a fire under his team. Not necessarily for the rest of this game but for the two upcoming in Munite Maid.

  2. Brandon Blackshear says:

That Altuve Home Run is the definition of a back hand slap to the face

  3. live4hockey2 says:

The key play/blunder of this game was the most unnoticed. Leclerc started 3-0 to Singleton, a guy who hasn’t had a single post season at bat, and eventually walked him to put the winning run on, KNOWING who was on deck.

    • Iloyd Martinez says:

I think the big mistake was the brawl, and Dusty getting ejected. Gave the Stro’s a chip on their shoulder, and the biggest Astro of them all got a chance to make a difference, and he did.

    • dukeofdeception says:

…and who was seen in the dugout giving Singleton props and pumping him up? True leaders pump others up before themselves. Tuve is GOAT

    • Booben Tobi says:

@Iloyd Martinezexactly!! Martin Maldonado even said in the post game interview that the Rangers’ biggest mistake was waking up the team after that brawl because they strongly believe that it wasn’t on purpose.

    • Dj Brite Lite says:

Actually it was the rookie Yainer Diaz, his hit initiated the rally.

  4. Edward Bisono says:

I’m from DR,we have so many good players, but Altuve is the best player I’ve seen in my whole life!!!…Let’s go Astros!!!!!

  5. Agustin Alvarez says:

Orgulloso de mis Astros 🙌🏾 amo mi Houston

  6. Aadi Patel says:

I love dusty showing the fire and the strategy of just sitting there to ice the pitcher. What a hell of a coach 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

    • Jose Moreno says:

Exactly!!! Many didn’t notice that like we did when I seen him say “You’ll have to take me out because I’m not leaving. I knew what he was doing to counter Garcia’s idiotic move. Dusty is out there playing chess while Strangers are playing checkers.😂

  7. Shaefer says:

there’s something about the Astros and beyond stressful Game 5’s that go hand in hand… 2017 WS, 2020 ALCS, 2022 WS, and now 2023 ALCS😂😂😂 each one aged me about 100 years but well worth it. i literally love jose altuve and i literally love the astros

  8. Kevin says:

I’m from Taiwan. What an exciting game ! Baseball is my favorite sport as it’s so dramatic and unpredictable.❤

  9. John Thomsen says:

That game had it all: pitching, clutch hitting and of course, a Fred Sandford brawl “let me at him” (hold me back). This is a rivalry 60 years in the making. What a game!

    • Brian Giles says:

I’m 42 years old. I never thought this would be baseball in Texas. Both the Rangers and the Astros are making this state proud.

  10. Marshall says:

The moment is never to big for MLBs smallest player.
