What’s a tougher climb, Mount Scoville or Mount Everest?

No one could’ve predicted this guest but everyone loves it

  3. Katherine says:

Mad respect for Bear Grylls, he’s not just tough, he’s resilient. As in, that piece of meat was really overwhelming him, but he kept going! A lot to learn from this man!

      @ThePluralApostrophe No, he’s not.

@subliminalvibes Then go through the gauntlet and post a video if you think it’s not hard. Go on, try it. If you’re so tough it shouldn’t be an issue for you, right? You could probably get these sauces on amazon so why not?

@ToXicGracie the thing is that Discovery didn’t want to fund a show if it didn’t had a professional camera crew with it (to make it entertaining and a success). So now you had to account for a crew of non survivalists that would increase the show success (it pretty much did) but it would impose limits to Bear’s freedom as a survivalist in the wild. He’s as legit as Stroud, the difference is that in a realistic business set, Man vs Wild was a hit. It combined legit skills (talent) with the entertainment business mindset (entrepreneurship). People get mad at the talent when he prolly wasn’t the one calling the shots regarding coworkers rights or format.

    • ToXicGracie says:

@SlimShadyLovesPastries Yeah but Les Stroud did surviving whilst teaching about survival and did it all alone in Survivorman. I’m not trying to take anything away from Bear Grylls, but I think compared to Les Stroud, he seemed less legit (even though he is still a very legit survivalist)

    • SlimShadyLovesPastries says:

@Jooji people don’t understand that his show is about *survival* not surviving.

I love Bear’s shows… they so good! Glad you got him on the show

  5. Riaz says:

The hero we need, but don’t deserve. A longtime fan of this humble man, an absolute legend.

    • FurtiveGold87 says:

@Brandon Walliser The ”fake dude'” was formely a special force (SAS) member who had a severe back injurie due to a parachute accident. A couples months after this event the guy climbed the Himalaya and the Mount Everest. You on the other hand…

    • gareth tompkins says:

How is this dude humble he came to hot ones and made them eat beef instead of wings

    • SLURP says:

@Brandon Walliser they arent faked? As much as they have help because u think he can take unexperienced people without alot of trinkets along the way. First and foremost its supposed to be entertainment with some new experiences for the guests

    • MelonHead Gaming says:

@Brandon Walliser bro all survival shows are faked😂

    • Brandon Walliser says:

We’re undeserving of staged “survival” shows? Dudes a fake, acte tough and steals TV show ideas.

  6. McGriddle69 says:

Bear Grylls is a big part of my childhood. I just remember staying home sick from school and watching man vs wild all day.

  7. Matthew McKinnon says:

This man always shifts the focus and praise to other people. What an incredible, humble guy.

  8. Rocket_man1234 says:

It’s cool to see the mutual respect between two people who are both guides of horrible experiences to those who are inexperienced

  9. TENCHU SNAKE says:

I feel like Bear Grylls show and Hot ones get some of the most real reactions from people. When we as human beings are tested physically and mentally we let are inhibitions down and show genuine human interactions. Amazing episode and insight. 💪🏽🐻😎🔥
