@Blindluck92 I always thought it was the implication that they were all taken, since that was the big hilight of the Phobos mission anyway, but Ghaul showing up in force definitely had me thinking twice.
The most ironic part about this meme was when Taken King rolled around, and Cayde made that crack about how the Cabal leadership had to be scratching their heads wondering *how the hell* the entire command structure of their forces sent to Sol was just… gone.
Then Gaul showed up, and we got the answer.

I would just like for one moment in which the Vanguard doesn’t see something coming. lol The Red War, yeah, but these new lights don’t even get to see that level of story anymore. They don’t know that whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars…
Took some time off last season but this new season looks fun. Glad to see Seraph weapons come back to the main stage.

They did with, sorta. Reused asset/map location of the worm strike/playlist map of warmind
I’d be so happy with warmind coming back, Mars was great and also escalation protocol was the best. I miss ruining Xol in seconds.
Rasputin in a Clovis type of Exo looked really cool. We already had a season of restoring Rasputins power with the Warsats and that wasn’t the most fun season , so I’m hoping this season has more to it because the trailer looks hype !

Rasputin’s original concept for D1 was meant to be an exo instead of a warmind. Evidently, it changed. But we get to that concept return, and I’m looking forward to it!
@Justin LawI think the season will be sick. Weapons and loot looks great. I didn’t like the theme of last season. Love the story direction of this season. Obviously there will be a content drought, but that is to be expected. Even so, the stuff looks sick and I’ll definitely be playing through till lightfall.
If the dungeon takes place in the same areas as deep stone imma cry. I just wanna explore more areas of the place

@funtourhawk What are you expecting in a season? Brand new enemy types? A new species to come out of nowhere and attack us? Brand new play spaces with new assets made entirely from scratch? Genuinely, tell me what you expect from a season. I’m so curious.

Literally nothing looks new…what a surprise
The music in this is amazing, no matter the season the ost always seems to be wonderful.
The armor is actually so good compared to some of the other seasons, the weapons also look sick. And the setting and characters? I’m loving it so far.
@BLUEPANTS I dunno if it’s just me, but so far I can’t even progress through the opening mission. Also, the AI (for me at least) is fucked beyond belief, won’t even shoot back. If that’s not a bad omen already, I dunno what is.
Also, to add onto this, the armor and season pass universal ornaments are mid as fuck. But hey, good ol’ Eververse has some good stuff, that’s all that matters!
I thought the same when I saw the season of the plunder trailer . I regretted that lol . I hope the seasonal activity isn’t too bad this season
