seeing hayden again is so unreal to me. I cant explain the level of excitement i have
I hope to see your reaction to Obi Wan too! Not only anime, because I love your reactions, every one of them!
@King Robert gods you were strong then
I’ve been looking forward to this. His power have doubled since the last time they met.
Third sister defeats obi and doesnt kill Luke. Obi becomes toxic white male non hero. End of story.
Hello There!
Much respect to Ewan for shouting out Ahmed Best, that man has gone through some rough times due to his casting.
@Desmond Hylton Darth Binks oh I so hope let’s make him a star
@Ando Servis Voice Actor Nah, this is for The Clone Wars fans.
😂😂😂
Exactly! Top man is Ewan!
@Auxzide Ewan didn’t really know him like Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman do
I wonder why there still is no interview of Hayden and Ewan reacting to prequel memes. The interviews for the show would have been the perfect opportunity for this
@Señor Spook that’s subjective really
Because they are painfully unfunny nowadays
Remember, this show is gonna be released weekly. Ad campaign’s gonna go on for a while
Because vanity fair is oblivious to memes
they are trying to introduce a show. let’s go easy on it.
Hayden has such a positive attitude, that’s what makes him a great actor. He takes on this character who is so dark inside that it conflicts with him. But he does it perfectly that’s what makes him great.
Crazy how Hayden sounds more like Matt Lanter as he’s gotten older, really helps blend the two actors into one character, especially if he incorporates some of the deeper voice into any flashbacks
@Kael Clugston makes sense I knew he was Canadian. I just thought he didn’t have an accent this is the first interview I’ve watched with him
@Shadow he kinda did- he lost his native accent. Hayden Christensen is Canadian.
@Dion Sidney Oh did he? Where did he say?
@First Name same! Had me questioning if he put on a anakin voice all this time
Well he did watch all movies and watched all Clone Wars episodes to prepare so maybe he got inspired by Matt?
The more I see of Hayden in interviews the more I love this man, he’s so nice and super relax. The fact he still wanted to come back as Anakin/Vader despite the backlash and or cyber bullying he has faced over decades speaks volumes about him as a person. He’s not in it for a quick payday he genuinely cares about the character. I’m happy he hasn’t become jaded and still loves this whole universe which he’s so integral to.
Ewan is so perfectly cast for a younger Obi-wan, the progression of his character is so natural. How did Lucas visualise this so well all the way back in the 90s?
@FreddieHg37 finally someone provides a reference after commenting on the intentions a director. Thank you honestly
I seem to recall Ewan, back in the 90s, talking about studying Sir Alec Guinness’ speech patterns for his role as young Kenobi. His dedication as an actor rules.
Here’s a little bit of what I’m talking about and the craziest part of it is that they looked into all of these little details that factored into his portrayal, even since Episode I, here’s the link: https://youtu.be/5ihqDETf324
There’s a great behind the scenes interview/recording where they’re talking about how his facial structure and the shape of his nose and the triangle area of his cheekbones, forehead, nose and lip, resembled a lot that of Alec Guinness and how it was the most important in regards of facial structure resemblance.
Hayden got treated so unfairly. He did a great job with what he was given. He even told George that if he played Anakin like he was on the page that kind of whiny teenager there would be backlash and there was. He felt like he was being blamed for Anakin’s faults and had to constantly remind himself that George must have seen something in him. I’m glad to seem him come back and get the love he always should have.
Hayden’s reaction to being cast in Star Wars is the most relatable thing I think I’ve heard any cast member of these films say about them. I grinned just as he did hearing him say that, super heartwarming.
Imagine just having a casual lightsaber battle in your apartment against Anakin Skywalker 🤯
… my childhood:
If you don’t have kids it’s fine, I guess…
@Nathaniel Haven Well he didn’t feel like that because they already knew eachother
Imagine being the room mate of anakin skywalker
