Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Koepka, McIlroy, Woods, Mickelson, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2022 PGA Championship is set to take place between 19-22 May at Southern Hills Country Club. The reigning champion is Phil Mickelson.

Actually I was waiting to see Zalatoris to win, he got 2nd place for 3 times I think. The only question is when he can win a PGA championship.

I really like him a lot, he is a nice young man and great player. It seemed to me that all the guys in contention (except for Thomas) were jacked up a bit. They kept making little mistakes which cost them strokes. Zalatoris will be in contention for major championships for many years to come.
Needs to work on his putting
Ok did I miss something? 2nd playoff hole, JT took only 3 shots(birdied) and Zala took 4 shots(par). How come he didnt win right there on? Thanks in advance.
@Eugene Petersen This is a great way to end a tied major championship. The three holes went by very fast, and it was exciting. I am glad they went to this format.

It’s a 3 hole playoff, not sudden death – good question though!
That course played very difficult. You know it when the final winning score is -5. The professionals had to work hard to survive. It was a great championship, and Thomas is a great player to win it.
