For real that guy is a crazy talent he’s an excellent actor and if you have seen anything he’s done with Danny McBride he has excellent comedic timing and delivery
I just hope it’s tonally dark. That’s the key to what makes Fallout work, I think. Yes you can have goofy – VERY occasionally. But you need that dark tone first and foremost. Of raiders attacking water caravaners. Of super-mutants abducting people for “Unity”. Of Vault-Tec’s legacy being staggering cruelty to people who never deserved it. And of our heroes final reward being “good job, well done, now go and die someplace else”.
Nail the dark tone, and you get Fallout. Miss it and you’ll have a generic western with power armour.

Someone either hasn’t played Fallout 2 or doesn’t remember it very well. That game was downright goofy

I was really hoping for ‘I don’t want to set the world on fire.’ But other than that … looks very promising. My favorite franchise of all time. Hundreds of hours I’ve put in these games.

I mean it’d have been on the nose, and what’s been used in trailers for the games, so it’s a little nice they were a bit more creative with it while still capturing the feeling of a nuclear apocalypse.
I love how it has the fallouts dark humour and the fallouts seriousness tone together like the games

After over 20 years of being a Fallout fan we’re getting a show! And I’ve got to say, it’s looks so good!!! I really hope the characters in the show are somewhat tied to previous games or a future game. I can’t wait!
Fallout has no Canonicity so yea you could see everyone from all games all in this show, even if they died yonks ago. maybe we will knowing it, stuff like this like to do that.
@keiranleeoates fallout does have canonicity lol, in new vegas there are loads of references to 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 literally share multiple characters

@@teamguerrilla Fallout had Cannonisty as it doesn’t no more, fallout 76 broke so much and still does it shown how bethesda don’t care about the lore and cannon as they break it non stop in that game and they broke quite a bit in 4 as well.
Absolutely love the trailer. I really hope it lives up to the games and embodies the 50s ish world that is so iconic to the fallout franchise.
