I love how it looks less dark than previous parts and more like first chapters of HP with a lot of jokes and funny moments but at the same time Mads is totally badass villain who will probably do some big dark things.

  2. Kobe Can says:

OMG!! This is gonna be epic: Albus Dumbledore vs Gellert Grindelwald!

This trailer puts a smile on my face because this what I want in a Harry Potter prequel movie.

  4. マイマイ says:

Im hyped up for everything, they seem like they’re showing us different magical schools and Jacob can actually use the wand!

    • CJ Dalley says:

I don’t know if he actually can or if Dumbledore gave it to him as a token of inclusion and someone else is casting on his behalf :D:D

It’s been a while since watching the last Wizarding World movie. I can’t wait to watch this!

I can’t possibly explain how satisfying this is, being a Potterhead I really really am so excited for this!!! Yuhuuuu!!!!

Although I think a lot of fans ARE upset with what happened with Johnny Depp and he was Fantastic, I think most fans are also NOT upset about Mads…at least that’s what I’ve been experiencing. Mads Mikkelsen is a treasure.

    • dhalc says:

I much prefer Mads. Depp seems to always be playing the same character with different tones since Captain Jack Sparrow. Mads is truly portraying Grindewald, something Depp never managed to do. Mads characterization is also more in line with the Grindewald we saw in the original movies.

    • Jessa Winters says:

@LordVader1094 if you say so but he’s hardly a household name. Yeah he was in Hannibal but what other stuff where he was a MC

    • LordVader1094 says:

@Jessa Winters They cast Mads for his name too. Depp deserved to stay

    • Jessa Winters says:

@Sean Wheeler I don’t think Mads has the star power but he has the talent. I totally agree about JD/AH, I actually think they’re both horrible. I have no horse in that race. But even before all of that drama when Colin Farrell initially changed into Johnny Depp, I was very against it. I thought he overacted the role, his Tim Burton energy didnt carry the elegant evil wizard energy that I felt we were teased with. It’s totally possible they will work in some kind of explanation for his change of appearance but in truth I try very hard to forget the second movie even existed bc it was so awful.

    • Sean Wheeler says:

@Jessa Winters Didn’t they cast Mads for his name too? Whether or not you like Depp, he still established Grindelwald. And now because of a fight with Amber Heard, he’s been replaced despite many people claiming Amber to be the abuser with evidence and she gets to stick around as Mera. I don’t care who hit who. What happened between him and Amber is unrelated to his role as Grindelwald. In fact, that incident already happened by the time Depp filmed The Crimes of Grindelwald!

I just love how Fantastic Beasts made Newt, a pacifist, the main protagonist in a story about war. It really offers fresh perspective, if this was written in a typical way, his brother would probably be the MC.
Dude was just minding his own business Pokemon training then suddenly his former teacher asks him to join a war lmao

  9. Peehu Agarwal says:

This looks amazing! I can’t wait to see more of Dumbledore and Grindelwald’s dynamic
