That’s because the solution doesn’t work. This theory has been one of the most popular ones and Wilbur disproved it a long time ago.
I’ve always wondered how many ARGs go “unsolved.” I mean, do the creators ever come out and go, “Great job, that was it!” It seems like all ARGs would be unsolved by some metric. I also kind of wonder how many never finish given the audience wouldn’t really know the last clue was given, again, because the creator rarely comes out and says, “Okay, all the clues are there!”
Or the worst one, the one that goes unnoticed. The arg is done, and then they sprinkle some starters somewhere only for nobody knowing its an arg.
Unless if you’re a guy called MatPat who DIRECTLY tells you the answer to his ARG.

If I had a nickel for every ARG that I’ve seen that had The raven by Edgar Allen Poe attached to it in some way, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

the fact matpat has now done a game-theory on this has made my entire day, I’m not kidding, args are one of my absolute favourite things and so is game theory and wilbur’s content, so seeing this after not seeing much about the editor wilbur for months makes me so happy
